I have been visiting the Cranston Animal Shelter for a few weeks hoping to find a cat to fit my lifestyle. Thank you to the supportive staff I was able to find the cat of my dreams! I was so happy to be able to work with the shelter adoption coordinator who was supportive, patient, and professional - and super friendly! I would certainly recommend to anyone! Coming back again to volunteer my time - thanks to these amazing staff members!

I love the staff and facility! The staff have been ultra nice to me. I recently lost my 11 year old cat so I was depressed so I was told to go to the Cranston Animal Shelter and I fell in love with a three year old female boxer/pit mix named Chanel. The staff take care of the pets in the shelter and show love to these pets in ways I haven't seen in years since my mom worked for MSPCA on Martha's vineyard.

I really love this shelter. It is very clean and well kept. The animals are very well cared for and the staff is amazing. I rescued my best friend Rhody from here in January and couldn't be happier. Shelby introduced us to Rhody and it was love at first sight. The adoption process was a breeze. I highly recommend adopting a pet from this shelter.

The Cranston Animal Shelter has changed quite a bit over the years! It's clean and the animals are always happy. The adoption rate has been higher than ever! Everyone who works there is in a good mood and you can tell they absolutely love their job. They are willing to help with any situation in the city of Cranston.

I will ask my Captain Tuesday i think there is an age limit but i will truly show this to Captain Henry of the Cranston Police
Not really sure but you should call the Cranston animal shelter and ask them?
Hi Anna! You have to be approved by our captain first. Please call the shelter at 401-464-8700 and we will be more than happy to provide his email to you :)
Call the city, they probably have an ordinance against running a business out of the house, then call the closest animal shelter
That is so sad, has Cranston animal control been there?
Have you found your cat?
Hi rose, please call the shelter and staff will be able to give you the proper information to become a volunteer.
The minimum age to volunteer is 18 :(
Hi there!! We have a few tortoiseshell kittens that will be ready in a few weeks :)
Please call them directly at 464-8700, thanks!
No nothing yet we will very soon
They are on our website and pet finder

Please adopt they are all loving
As previously answered, Lynn, someone is there Sundays and Mondays. The animals are very well taken care of everyday.
