Gather 'round, and hear a tale of horror and dread. If you have ever seen the movie "The Money Pit," then you have a good idea of what my house was like. Shayla and her team at Keyrenter stuck by me through it all, and made it as painless as possible. From water leaks, to mold, difficult tenants not wanting to deal with repairs, HVAC issues, and more, Shayla was communicative, helpful, and worked with me when some high level repairs came back to back. From the time something went wrong to the time she had people out to take care of it, she averaged less than a 24 hour turn around. I have zero interest in being a slumlord, and she made sure my tenants as well as my property was taken care of. If you are military, then she is the gal you need to manage your property after you PCS. Anyone can call and ask when things go wrong. Shayla is actually proactive and often comes up with solutions to present. I think she probably spent more money on gas to go ensure things were done right to the property than she made some months. She's also very adept at finding cost effective solutions to problems if you aren't around to answer the phone within a few days like I was. A note on the personal aspect of things. Shayla is a very sweet gal, and has a fantastic sense of humor. Even when things were going wrong with the house, she was a joy to talk to, even when I wasn't the most pleasant. I always got off the phone with a smile, even when staring down a 5k repair. She's always professional when dealing with tenants and contractors, and has a fearless, can do attitude. Eventually, I ended up selling with her. As nightmarish as that process was, (several repairs happened during the closing process, including a busted water main) she handled it all with grace and efficiency. I don't know of very many agents that just immediately find multiple bids and then call you with a ready made, affordable solution. As awful as the house was, dealing with her was the bright spot, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. As much as I am relieved to have the house gone, I will legitimately miss working with her. Short and sweet version? She's a pro, has guts, a sense of humor, and will stick by you even if you have the money pit from hell. When most other property managers would have wanted to cut and run, she stuck it out, and made things work. Hire her. You won't regret it.

I’m into my third year using Keyrenter Metro property management services and I am happy with the services they have provided. They have taken over all the stressful and demanding functions for me as a landlord: preparing the lease; managing the interactions with the tenant and condo association; doing property inspections, repairs, maintenance and much more. Their recommendation of a monthly contribution to a fund for repairs makes perfect sense as the inevitable repairs are seamlessly done to the satisfaction of all parties. There’s also a big benefit for me in the monthly and yearly statements to complete the property documentation and tax preparation. I have had zero issues and absolutely no complain, and they always respond quickly to my queries and communications.
