What a fantastic mountain!! We had a blast during their night ski! The snow was like ice cream! Day time was great as well! Lines were a little long, so we stuck to the Timberline lift and hit most of those trails there. Wilderness lift opened for a short period of time. But we got to take it up twice. It was beautiful at the top! Peggy's Dow was a favorite trail! The glades were great! Would come back!!

My 16 year old daughter and I spent the morning at Bolton yesterday. Neither of us had ever skied before, and we thought it might be fun to give it a try. We booked a 9am ski lesson and bought half day lift passes. I must say, the entire experience totally exceeded our expectations! Your staff is incredibly friendly, starting with the guy in the parking lot who gave us directions and advice. The woman at the ticket window opened early for us so that we could get our lift tickets before the rental shop opened. The folks in the rental shop were incredibly helpful, kind and efficient and got us ready for our lesson with time to spare. Our instructor Jaylin (not sure if I got the spelling right) was amazing, and after an hour with him we were ready to tackle the entire mountain from the top down. The chairlift operators were also so encouraging and friendly, and we really appreciated the signs along the mountain that said "easiest way down"! Thank you all for an incredible day!

Annual favorite for family skiing. We happily make the 5 hr drive multiple times per season because of the pure VT relaxed vibe. From the staff in the unloading area and ski instructors, to the lodge restaurant wait staff and lift operators, everyone here is friendly, welcoming and professional.

An incredible family run resort. If you are looking to have a true Vermont stay without the high end frizzle from the fancy resorts 15 minutes away, then Bolton valley is your spot. My kids are 12 , 10, and 7, and all different ski abilities. They loved the place! Comfortable, adorable rooms, super friendly staff! Japanese rice tacos on from a food truck on the mountain was our favorite spot for lunch! So unique and tasty! We were there between Christmas week and new year. We had a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen for our family of 5. The water was out for half of our stay but the management made it right by giving us an extra room to shower, and comping ski tickets and half our stay. We never complained or begged for a reimbursement, as they offered everything up front to apologize for the major inconvenience. Lovely winter vacation. Fresh snow made it majestic and worth the trip from Chicago!
