If I could I would give 0 stars, calling for days no answer. I have been on hold today for over an hour. I tried to use the online delivery feature and it's inactive for my account, tried to use the online chat feature and it says they are busy. My next call will be to other propane companies in the area. This is PATHETIC! They do not deserve anyone's business and frankly using them as a provider is dangerous as you will never be able to get fuel from them.

If I could give Blue Flame a negative star rating I would. It took six months of constant back and forth to get my account set up with conflicting answers, terrible customer service, inconsistent follow through and staff that were constantly telling me that they didn't know any answers. No one could tell me how much propane cost, what the service period was on a bill I had received, whether my account was set to auto-refill, if I needed a contract or not, if I needed to prebuy my fuel or not, etc. That was last heating season. It's only September and the customer service run around headache has already begun with bills for propane use in August, service fees for service I declined and unreturned phone calls from supervisors. I would absolutely NOT recommend Blue Flame Gas.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. Could not afford to buy propane in November when I received notice that per my contract I would be assessed a tank storage fee for not ordering delivery frequently enough. Was able to afford a delivery in January and was lead to believe, after pleading my case, that my fee would be waived if I ordered enough propane... my tanks were down below 10%. I WOULD NOT HAVE FILLED MY TANKS COMPLETELY HAD THE FEE NOT BEEN WAIVED. Then a month later I see that I am being assessed late fees on top of my tank storage fee, that I was under the impression had been waived. I call and was told there was no record of this agreement. I get notice that they are coming to take the tanks by May. I call and express my grievance and am told that I would receive a call back. Apparently I did get a call but my mailbox was full. My bad, but regardless a tech is sent out to pick up my tanks. Full of propane THAT I HAVE PAID FOR! AT A HORRIBLE PRICE. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. Oh and if any OWNERS are reading this review, your manager, MIKALA cost you a customer today.

This company has been nothing but pain since day one. We moved in during May and (partly due to my landlady not understanding the property; she had only purchased it 4 months prior), we didn't immediately set up the propane account. 1 month later, we don't have hot water anymore. Turns out, the hot water tank was not electric as we were told. Call Blue Flame and what begins is a 5 day cycle of "we're setting up the account", "we have no record of that account". On the 5th day, furious, I finally get my landlady to intervene. Finally, an account. Oh, but deliveries for my area were just completed that morning, it'll take another week to get propane. I fought that, of course (two weeks without hot water, no way!). Then was slammed with a $200 fee (in addition to the propane) for an emergency delivery. All is well for a while, they make deliveries when I call for the rest of the year and then I decide I would like to go automatic because it would be easier. Again, no problem to start, and then I notice in late July I haven't had a delivery since April. Okay, fine. At this point only our heat is on propane, the water heater had been replaced with an electrical one. Months later, we return home from Thanksgiving to find the house freezing. Their portal says I had a delivery pending since mid-October that hadn't been filled. I have to call emergency lines for an emergency delivery. By now, prices have skyrocketed and I'm slammed with a $1000 bill for my propane. A year later, a tank has been flagged as unsafe. They lock it down, leaving me with one tank. Rinse, repeat. I had some trouble with my ability to pay, I accept that. I make the payment, though, and it looks like all is well. The portal still shows automatic deliveries and one is even scheduled. Then I wake up, dead of winter, to a house that is barely 60 degrees and after spending hours on the emergency line trying to get a delivery, I'm told that I was put at will call and pay in advance but wasn't notified of it. When I pointed out that the portal didn't show that, they brushed it off. They came and filled BOTH tanks (yes, including the unsafe one!) and I was slammed with $1000 bill AGAIN. Yesterday I came home to find my service had been cut off. I call, have to talk to emergency line again, and after the call dropped twice, am told that someone couldn't do a leak test, so cut off my propane. I still don't know why they had to do a leak test or why I wasn't informed. They say they tried calling, I didn't get it. I would like to have someone come, but now I have to call during business hours. It isn't until I walk around the house to check the tanks before I realized, they decided to replace the tanks (because of the unsafe one!). Instead of seeing that no one was home and rescheduling, they went ahead, couldn't do the leak test without access to the house, and chose to cut the feed. If I haven't been responding to calls, maybe email me? Send me a letter? Reschedule?! Anything but turning off my heat when we're still having periods of cold during these early Spring nights! Finally, I call promptly at 8 this morning, and the lady kept talking OVER ME to defend their company. All I want is someone to come to the house and do the leak test. She can't get a hold of anyone, she'll have to call me back. Confirm my number. Give her an alternate number just in case. Tell her I cannot guarantee anyone will be home unless she tells me when. It's now 12 noon, and I still haven't heard from them about it. My roommate texted me at 9:48 to say the guy showed up; fortunately my roommate was still home getting ready for work. Otherwise, no one would have been there. Blue Flame, your portal is useless and your customer service horrendous. I work in a call center for technical support. If I EVER talked over an angry client or brushed off their concerns, I WOULDN'T HAVE A JOB. I have and WILL CONTINUE to tell anyone who asks me about your service to pick anyone else and I will be talking to my landlady about another provider!
