Questions & Answers

I have an aluminum DOT propane tank that is expired. Do you re-certify tanks? I don't want to exchange the tank for a steel one.

No, we do not re-certify tanks.

After the tank is delivered full to our home and installed by a plumber will you provide refill delivery service when needed?

No, we only deal with portable DOT tanks ranging in size from 20 lbs (grill tank) to 40 lbs. Thanks for the inquiry.

What size propane tank would you recommend for my Norwood, MA. home residence? It will only be used by our kitchen gas range to be installed by a plumber? One other question. Will we need to apply for a permit from the Town of Norwood?

Hi John, We deal with portable DOT cylinders ranging in sizes 20 lbs - 40 lbs only. We do not deal with bulk ASME home tanks. You would want to contact a bulk distributor, we recommend Devaney Energy. For questions about permitting, contact the Norwood Deputy Fire Chief. Thanks for the inquiry.
