The BonneyLake branch is consistently closed when it’s posted hours state it should be open. It happens at least once per week if not more. When asking the branch employees why this is happening so often when they do open, they claim it’s Covid and staffing related. Frankly, it’s ridiculous 3 years later Covid is still being blamed for this branch suffering extremely high rates of employee sick call outs forcing the branch to close during days they should be operating, and advertise they open. I attempted to access my safety deposit box today for urgent documents I needed, and have no ability to obtain them. I emailed BOA the request for scheduling a deposit box access per their instructions, but that can take weeks. I need access now. This is the 3rd time this has happened in the past two months. Bank of America has already closed a significant number of surrounding area branches, Bonneylake is the only one left in the area that provides deposit boxes. I’m beyond frustrated, as well as the numerous persons I witnessed show up today to find an unstaffed, closed branch that should be open. Just four days ago, the business hours were updated 9:00am - 4:00pm. Now it’s suddenly closed without notice? Really hoping enough workers decide to show up tomorrow. This branch needs considerable improvements to its staffing abilities and it’s customer service.

Came to pick up a currency order on Saturday at 10:30 between their open hrs of.10-1, and they were closed! Now.no currency for my trip. Thanks for screwing me over BoA!

So disappointed with this branch (Bonney Lake). I checked their office hours before heading over there as I needed to withdraw a large amount of cash. It was an emergency. This was on 10/12 a Tuesday at 2:15. Online information for Bonney Lake branch says they are open until 5pm on Tuesday. To my surprise doors were locked and note on door said closed. Second time this year this has happened to me and lobby is closed. ATM only allows you to withdraw a certain amount. Realizing this is not a dependable branch to do business with. I live in Bonney Lake and would prefer to do business locally.

I first tried to call this branch to see if I needed an appointment. After waiting through the multiple messages, I was hung up on. Never got to talk to a person. I drove 25 minutes to the nearest branch (since they closed the one by my house), and waited in a long line to be told that I needed an appointment. I was there to set up an estate account for my deceased father. My attorney gave me the paperwork and directed me what to do. The man asked to see my paperwork and said, yes, everything looked good, but couldn't get me in for TWO weeks. Is this customer service? I asked him three times in different language that the paperwork I had was sufficient and I would be able to walk out with an account and be able to administer the estate. He said three times, yes. I waited and showed up for my appointment. They made me sit and wait, finally took me back and made copies, sent them to legal who apparently told them that the letters testamentary was a copy and they needed the one with the gold seal. I knew this was not right, I had the one with the blue signature marking. The original stays in the court. This was a certified copy and said so on the paper. I also had the paperwork from my attorney. I said I was done and wanted the money, I would go elsewhere and set up the account. I was told that is what the tellers do. I waited in line and the teller couldn't find the information she needed. Remember the guy who told me I had the right paperwork and would have the account that day? Yeah, he came up and said, she was looking for the letters testamentary and I need the original. I asked for my papers and license and told them they would be hearing from my attorney. Left the bank, called the attorney and he said he can't believe they put me through this and he would write a letter and if they didn't give up the money, he will sue. I then called Key Bank and they answered their phone about the second or third ring. They made an appointment for 2:00 today. I took the paperwork in (same exact paperwork), she said it looked great. They set up the account and I got to deposit the checks that have been sent to me. Couldn't have treated me more kindly. Guess we will have to wait and see what bull Bank of America makes up as their excuse when my attorney's letter is delivered. I will sue and ask for damages. Stay away from this bank and the branch in particular.
