You will need to call them to ask what you will need to bring with you so they don't make you set up a different appointment so you have everything first time. -2 pieces of mail bills are current address - drivers license,birth certificate,ss card non laminated, and proof of Insurance with current up to date policy I think that is everything but call to verify

the permit is almost 90 dollars not sure how much the 5 hour course is and i believe you get 2 trys on the road test before haveing to pay for another road test

You have to make an appointment and bring a dollar with you, but you bring the plates inside and they will give you a receipt upon the end of transaction.

To go in there they are requiring an appointment, you can get to the online link for that through the dmv website after following links to the county that you reside in. To just ask a question on the phone I am not sure... While I was in there I DID see a few calls answered... Maybe try a few different ones that might be able to answer your question. I one time called Saratoga though I live in Washington and got an answer that way.

As of now. Make an appointment. And go as usual or use drop box. Must have photocopy of licence mv82 dtf 802 and bill of sale and title. When u print mv82 it has credit card info on it or i belive u can use a blank check made out to dmv. Drop it off in the dropbox in a envelope with your name and phone number address and dmvs adress on it like a normal leter. They mail u you your plares in a few weeks .done this a few times. My sister did hers in March of this year and had to make an appointment to do it in person. They said it never went through. Hope this helps

Best would be to go there and ask the lady at the door. She will look it up for you. If you have an appointment then they will send you a text to ask if you're there,if you set it up online.

There are a bunch of things that can be done online and I'd try that 1st cuz appointments are already at the end of September a few weeks ago so I'm sure it's way into October now

Yes I just renew mine yesterday and it take ten days to receive the registration by mail

They have more staff in office starting today to help process drop offs but are still not accepting public in. You can continue to use the drop box. I am not sure about when public will be able to enter but you can call them if you have a question about registrations. Many items can be done online.

I would bring the title and any information you have for the truck as well as a copy of the death certificate and possibly marriage certificate to show kinship down to the dmv and explain the situation. They should be able to help you out.

You cannot obtain a 10 day extension for inspection from dmv. Quoted from the NYS DMV website " How do I get a 10-day extension of my current inspection? You can receive inspection receipt that includes a 10-day extension if the previous inspection was expired at the time of the inspection your vehicle passed all parts of the inspection except the test of the OBD-II readiness monitors You cannot get more than one extension.  You cannot get an extension from the DMV."
