I must say this hotel didn't disappoint. Spent the weekend in Philly for my birthday and actually had another hotel booked for a night. I was very disappointed in that establishment and opted to book with Marriot. It was a busy weekend for many entities and this hotel managed them all very well. The one issue I had was when booking there's an option for early check in...its not guaranteed and they should state that. We went to check in expecting a room available and it wasn't. And to add we waited many hours for a room to be available. We were supposed to be alerted when the room was ready and were never notified. Just clean up that portion

Excellent service from check in to check out. Valet at arrival was efficient and friendly. Thelma at the concierge desk was accommodating, informative and her lovely personality set the tone for our visit. Our bellman, Mohammad, was also courteous and went out of his way and brought us ice. Valet, Iva, was super fast retrieving our vehicle. Would definitely recommend and but stay again when visiting Philadelphia.

Very nice hotel. Staff was Very Friendly and helpful. Valets, Doormen, Bell Hops, Desk clerks, Housekeeping always cheerful and greeting you asking if you need help. (Adria greeted us at the front door when we arrived and started helping us from the get. She even insisted on grabbing our bags from the trunk.) Waiters at the restaurant in the Lobby were awesome (especially Altin and Edward) I wish I could remember all their names of the rest of the staff to put in a good word for all of them. As far as the hotel itself: Clean, and nice with good views. Centrally located in the city. Next to the Reading Terminal Market(Best eats in town). Convenient to the subway. walking distance to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Walking distance to City Hall and Convention Center,

Stayed here twice. Currently here now and this will be my last time! Like others mentioned, the other entrances are blocked off which is inconvenient especially considering it’s freezing outside, the amount of homeless people etc. even standard hotels have key entry on side entrances. This is unacceptable and ridiculous. To make matters worse, the only entrance that is open is locked after a certain hour and has a “security checkpoint” but several times I have been stuck and locked out of the hotel with no security around. I was pounding on the doors and had to call the front desk and wait on hold for someone to call. This happens too often. Staff never apologizes or does anything to be accommodating, they’re all pretty rude with the exception of the Asian gentleman who checked me in. The bar food is not good and overpriced, although the restaurant that serves breakfast has a decent buffet. The market has a good selection too. Not worth it! Won’t be back.

Nope. It was one of the cleanest hotels I've ever been in
There's valet parking, but there are more affordably priced parking garages within a block or two.
$10-$16 if I'm not mistaken. If you're a member of Marriot rewards or whatever it's called, it's free.
Yes. The main entrance is off Filbert street
