Just ended a year lease here and am a little indifferent on my experience... PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING (SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME) This was my first residence after moving from a house in MD in 2021. I found Sunstone online and signed my lease before visiting the property. PLEASE BE BETTER THAN ME AND VISIT FIRST, DO NOT RELY ON LEASING OFFICE PHOTOS. LEASING OFFICE PHOTOS DO NOT REFLECT THE COMMUNITY WHATSOEVER. Application process was a little bumpy, but went well overall. On move in date Jaquita (my leasing agent) was very rude, with a nasty attitude, along with a side of disrespect. I moved into the Salvia unit, with an up and downstairs. The unit overall was livable. Unit was clean and smelled well upon moving in. Only problem I had with it was that the hardwood floors are not real, they are of like sticker/peel-able material. The other issue is that the bathroom was completely painted over, which made it hard to clean/keep clean because paint gets dirty easily. The neighborhood is in THE hood. The community itself could do more to secure the property. The gate is always opened allowing for anyone and their mother to enter freely. My neighbors door was also kicked in (during broad daylight), resulting in me calling the police, who came with guns drawn as they entered. Unit 2232 is LOUD EVERYDAY @ 7AM and will wake you up. They have no care in the word for those who are sleeping still or those who want peace of mind. The property management Anna is very kind and sweet and surprisingly enough, Jaquita attitude/personality did a 360. I thought she was too far gone, but wow good for her!! To wrap things up I would not suggest living here ONLY IF you are desperate desperate. Other than living here for connivance of USF being near, there is NO other reason for you to consider living her. Rent at this community is not worth it and I whole heartily promise you can find somewhere else better for the same price. If you read this review and still decide to live here, have fun wasting you money and draining your energy.

There’s nothing good to write about this property and if start writing the negative things about this, the list keeps going on and on. The first and foremost thing is the customer service. I’ve never seen such non existent one and at times it feels like it’s for your own good as you can avoid the RUDE people here. Even when you rise tickets for any issues, it won’t get resolved for weeks together and you just have to deal with it. I’m not talking about tickets for some interiors, even when electricity is out, they don’t come until then. AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I moved out a month ago and I have very mixed feelings of this place. The apartment I lived in was freshly renovated and never had an issue with bugs. However, the residents were horrible my car was hit countless times in the parking lot, my partners car was broken into, trash everywhere, unsupervised children running wild, fighting, fireworks being set off in the parking lot, etc.. the apartment itself was nice, Louis was amazing and actually cared! The location in general is horrible, I wouldn’t recommend if you want a peaceful living environment and moving from out of state

Trash is ridiculous. No one takes it even though we’re forced to pay it. They put us in the wrong apartment and haven’t been able to reach management since. The office people sit in there all day and eat food with their shoes off. Kids destroy your own property and cars and the office doesn’t pick up the phone so you will have to call 911 a lot. Your house isn’t cleaned before you move in like they say so please clean it. The bug problem is absurd even though “pest control” is included it’s not. Since living here (almost a year) the pool hasn’t been opened once. The gym hasn’t been opened once. And the car vacuum station and the parking lot is all blocked for construction so you have no amenities in this place. Corporate never answers either so good luck with that. Their excuse is always “we’re under new management” but nothing gets done..? This was my first apartment so it’s a let down and a scam and I just don’t wish it on anyone else. There’s homes that have rent cheaper than this place that are actually new. Please don’t go here. They also use their friends and fake accounts to write the good reviews if you pull in and knock on anyones door they’ll tell you we all on Sunday air dropped corporates number that’s how bad it is.

You have to talk with the staffs. They at least try to help you. But the manager is rude and also will not do anything.
