Yeah we picked up holiday turkeys over there. Also last year when we needed help they were the only ones that extended anything that would help us when we were out of work. People at work here are great it's the salvation army on tamiami trail in North Port across from Lowe's. If you fall in hard times this place is great. they definitely care and they will help you out

I came to TSA to seek assistance in rent but since I was already in a program for single mother that helped in housing I was denied any help by the case worked supervisor do to the fact that I do not rent or own a private home I’m more so considered to be living in a transitional house she then did not give up but pursued to reach out for another type of assistance which also got denied because of my particular type of living arrangements the third time was the charm she asked for one last and final type of funding and like they say the third time is the charm it was granted. I recommend if ever finding yourself in desperate times to reach out to Sarasotas north port TSA the case worker that went beyond and never let denial be the final answer for my situation was made Amy Hobbie she is very determined to help people she defines her job description and is truly a wonderful person.
