We went on a Mid-Friday afternoon & was a little busy as we had to wait a little to do the boat tour. They have a nice gift shop, & a little place you can grab a quick bite to eat. The tour was excellent & so was the female tour guide. Unfortunately we had quite a few little kids (under 5) who didn't sit still in our boat, & the parents should have been attentive. Even the tour guide stated numerous times about keeping hands inside the boat at certain times & not to stand up, but again the parents failed to say anything. Overall great tour minus kids under 5 on the boat. They should have a kids boat ride to avoid those adults who wanted to enjoy it WITHOUT the KIDS.

One of the coolest experience’s! Not only do you explore a cave but you go on a boat through it! It was so neat! Then do the wildlife bus ride! There were several cool animals, tour was cool and informative. Kid friendly and fun for adults. Also had food trucks and flea market stuff today! So much to do and not super expensive. Must go!

This was a great experience for our family. Our daughter(5) was a little scared of the darkness in the cave, at times, but she loved the wildlife, the maze, and the prospecting. The guides were friendly and informative. It's a little expensive but we'll definitely be eager to go again.

We had a great time on the wildlife tour, especially the wolves, baby bison, and black bears. The maze was a lot of fun. Flynn and I were able to beat it in under 7 minutes and received a prize. The cave tour was pretty unique and spectacular. Definitely a great way to spend the day with the little ones.

I think he might like it. The cave does get dark an he has to stay sitting on the boat.
July for the Sunflowers, but others are blooming beginning in May.
None required. They don't ask. If you feel the need to wear one then do. There were a few people still wearing them but not many.
You can bring your child but the past to get there is very steep and strollers are not allowed. The river is only a couple feet deep and does not move very quickly so if anything were to happen you could be able to just stand up. Like another has said it stays 52 degrees year round so make sure your child is bundled up.
What if I call in a reservation? Could I make one that way? I don't have a computer?
The walk to the boat is only dangerous if it's wet or he's running, you can easily carry him down if nessecary. Masks are required in the giftshop/ restrooms and on the boat.
I stayed Residence Inn by Marriott.. if you don't visit there weekend, it will be very cheap. Especially this season hehe.
There are a ton of B&Bs in the area. We stayed at The Queen in Bellefonte. We turned our cave adventure into an amazing getaway.
They have a nice little cafeteria in the gift shop with reasonable prices.
