Beautiful view.. The Turkey Path is so cool. Waterfalls half way down and Pine Creek is so refreshing at the bottom. Hike back up is not for the novice!

The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon is soooooo beautiful!! Took my breath away! Lots of amazing spots for photo OP's and trail that goes to the bottom of the canyon. Nice and clean scenic outlook. Can't wait to go back!

This is a tourist spot. People come from all over to hike and see the gorge. Which isn’t a bad thing, just the trails are heavily trafficked. People of all fitness levels and lifestyles can easily navigate the steps trailed along the side of gorge. Beautiful views all along the stone steps which are big enough to accommodate large groups of people. The Overlook trail down to Otter View is a whole other story. It is a loop trail (trail map located at the entrance by the soda machine) leading to the south lookout of the canyon. Do this trail counter clockwise to avoid the STEEP HIKE back up. If you make a right and do the steep down hill first then the hike back up the other side is a more gradual incline. The trail is dirt, somewhat rocky and steep. Otter View is worth seeing in my opinion. We didn’t do Turkey Path because I heard it was closed part way down due to storm damage. Always check which trails are open before planning a visit. Also, there is a refreshment food truck parked near by selling ice cream and snack foods. There is also a stand selling locally sourced maple syrup and honey. There are also drink vending machines located at the entrance as well as bathrooms. Ample parking but this place gets busy in the fall.

Must see park with stunning views of the Pine Gorge. This would be exceptional viewing in the fall. Visitors center with bathrooms. A small gift shop and a food truck. Nice viewing platform without doing the trails. Trails are very nice but are moderate to hard. Overlook and turkey hill path- may want to call ahead to make sure trails are open due to weather or otherwise.

Yes, but keep in mind the walk goes down and there are steps down at the end. You can get great views right from the visitors center area.
Done for the season now
Leonard Harrison but you have hike for the best view.. Enjoy
I believe you go out there for the opposite of internet Wi-Fi
Pine Creek Rail Trail is not accessible by bicycle from Leonard Harrison State Park. Use Darling Run Access Area off St 362 in Ansonia
I did not see any horses while we were there.
Three is no designated spots for campers or travel trailers .. however the parking lot is rather large and plenty of space. Wouldn't wanna turn more then a 30ft around though.
I don't think there was firewood available in the park. There was a house on the road in about 2 miles back selling wood. Fire rings are standard state park rings with movable rack on top
Turkey Path is open now. Will close for winter when snowfall accumulates and reopen with campground second Friday in April
This depends on a couple factors. It is being predicted to peak around October 19th in 2019.
