Hills Creek State Park is a wonderful park consisting of over 400 acres and offering many recreational activities for people who enjoy the outdoors. There are many trails located within the park and the Mid State Trail passes through the park boundaries as well. There is a lovely lake that allows for canoeing, kayaking, and boating. There are many campsites for a wide range of camping options within the park. There are also yurts, small cabins and larger cabins available for rent in the camping area as well. This is a great spot to enjoy nature in North Central PA!

This place is stunning! My fiance and I are here for his birthday weekend. Love camping and PA is dear to his heart. The scenery is so beautiful I dont see it like this is new York. Here are some photos we have taken along our way so far...

Loop D was dog friendly with large sites. Nice hiking trails. Beautiful lake.

Nice place to visit for a day-walk around the lake. Seems like the park has a good crew that puts in the effort here. Actually was able to travel all the loops in a short afternoon.

Call or check on line state parks do close at a certain time but some may be open longer than others.
As stated depends on what you want to do.the park is open dusk to dawn
Depends on what you are getting. It is different for cabins, yurts, cottages, and the camp sites. I believe the average would be 3pm
I don't see why not, we just left and had a fire every night.
Yes in the designated fire ring as long as you have a campsite. If you are not camping, there are charcoal grills available.
