I've tried that program 2 times. I really wanted it to work, I gave it my best effort. But they therapists there...ah..they just out of diapers, so to speak. No knowledge, no experience. And quality of food did not help either.

I paid cash for 2 weeks of service. On day three was sent to the ER to address Mental Health issues and was prescribed medication. LA Ventana refused to let me complete treatment due to the advice I took from the medical professionals and has refused to refund me for the services that weren't provided. You're just a number on the board and there isn't genuine quality care. Not to mention they are theifs. I wouldn't send my dog to LA Ventana

La Ventana treatment program changed my life. After having a complete mental breakdown at the end of November, I came there terrified of rehab. Every single person from therapists to clinical directors to residential assistants welcomed me immediately into their family, however. I can't say enough about residential and intensive outpatient programs. The therapists (specifically Sam, Hillary, Haeley and Chris) were all so knowledgeable, caring and helped me see so many negative and rehabilitating core beliefs that have controlled my life for so long. They have given me the tools/coping skills to accept life on life's terms and helped me recognize feelings I numbed for so long. They even gave me a "rock out" at the end of my time here sharing how much I've grown and that was amazing.. I highly recommend La Ventana treatment for any one whether in crisis or in need of help with any stage of life or grief. This program changed my life and two months later I'm seeing amazing results in my life, my marriage and my relationship with my 8 year old.

I cannot say enough good things about this please. YOU SAVED MY FAMILY! I have my daughter back! The staff are SO kind! The therapists are so knowledgeable! From that first call to Admissions who picked up instantly and listened to me and my daughter. They spent so much time answering all my questions. I thank you for your patience with us because this is not easy. They are so professional and they really know how to help you feel cared for. Their motto is “Let Our Family Guide Yours,” and they were right. They guided me throughout my daughter’s time there. I went to the therapies, and I went to the family support group. I trusted even when I was scared. My daughter is blossoming into the young lady she deserves to be. I was so scared and now I am so full of hope. People do get better. This is a long road for us and we are working on it…again this is NOT easy. We are lucky and working through this everyday. They helped get set up with a therapist and another psychiatrist. Thank you for everything and for all of your staff. You all have a very big heart! My daughter and I are forever appreciative and grateful!

Questions & Answers

Does a relapse mean that addiction treatment has failed?

Alyssa Carr | Aug 29, 2021
Lorraine Kaiser | Aug 29, 2021

Recovery is a journey, not a one time event. Sometimes the coping mechanisms that worked in the past may need to be revisited to accommodate a sober lifestyle. A relapse can happen but does not mean one has failed. Recovery is possible! Never lose hope! La Ventana meets individuals where they are in their journey to lifelong recovery. Without judgement, our Master’s level clinicians will customize an evidence-based treatment plan that best fits the lifestyle of each client to acknowledge the relapse, understand why it happened, then prevent another in the future. The La Ventana admissions team is available to schedule a detox admission 24/7. After detox, our residential treatment programs can help a client learn and practice the skills necessary to get back on track to success.
