By FAR my favorite haunt even in the LA area. Loved the lights out night and can't wait for the Christmas event coming up!

This place was super awesome. They will make you jump and scream. There is many many different rooms to walk through. If you haven't gone yet. Then you must go!!!

So.. Reign of Terror (R.O.T.) - Does not dissapoint! Total Ghoulies and creepies and scary things that go bump in the night! I'm 51, and still enjoyed the s**t out of it! The line? Yeah, that was 1 hour 45 min, but you can buy the VIP pass and only wait 25 min. I'm cheap, and brought my teenage kids, so we toughed it out with everybody else..... The inside waiting area is similar to last year, with the video that starts the deal off. Once thats over? Its showtime! A group of 4 is the perfect size. Group of 6 or morem Too many. Have fun and beware!

I only took the daytime tour with the lights on because I’m an absolute chicken. We only got to see 3 sections and they production quality was amazing, even with the lights on. I think that says a lot and I truly won’t survive the actual tour. High recommend!

About 30 minutes to walk through. Wait times in line to enter vary. Check current wait times at the Box Office (they have a sign inside that updates as lines form or shrink)
No. Due to county restrictions, Reign of Terror is unable to open for FALL 2020 and has CANCELED the schedule. We hope to open again soon. Watch for announcements and visit our website to updates.
A thrill, not a jump out and grab you Haunted house, so I say ya.
Not until late September/October :p make sure to check out www.rothauntedhouse.com to keep up to date with time and ticket prices. Hope this helps :)
When I went, the woman at the ticket booth told us you can buy tickets and get in line to enter the maze until the posted closing time for the event, which I think is 10pm. So as long as you're in line with your ticket by 10, you'll go through.
Yes. For 2018, we'll be open Sept 29, Oct 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, and Nov 3. Ticket prices range from $15 to $35, depending on the date and the ticket type (General Admission vs. VIP Express). Buy tickets on the website www.rothauntedhouse.com or at the Box Office near our entrance at the Janss Marketplace.
Makeup, Yes. Masks, No (limits your visibility, posing a danger to yourself and others if you fall_) Costumes, No (so the fabric does not get caught in tight places inside or on sharp edges)

if you have a group they’ll let the whole group go in together but they space every group out by 3 minutes max. I went there last week and if you’re moving really fast/slow you most likely will see another group ahead/behind you.
Probably not
Recommended for older teens and adults. Generally not for under 15 years old. The regular, night time event is very intense and designed to appeal to older teens and adults who enjoy being scared. Tickets for the night time events are non-refundable, even if someone is too scared to enter or finish the walk through the Haunt, so consider this carefully before purchasing. We generally recommend ages over 15 for the night time events. We also have "lights on" tours on select Saturday afternoons in October so younger kids can walk through without all the intense special effects and darkness present. All the regular white lights are on.
