The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because they have some awesome toys there along with an indoor track and rock crawling trail. That said, the stoners working behind the counter- they don’t even cover the smell up from the back, have continued to point me in the wrong direction with parts and support. Unless you already know what you need, don’t bother or rely on these guys for help- you’re better off researching your product and buying elsewhere- not a single time have these people ever admitted that they were wrong, and it’s always, out of my pocket the mistakes that they made. Lame

The guys there helped me pick a good car for my son. They were very patient. Fixed my other car for free and even converted two of my batteries free of charge. I would highly recommend this store to anyone.

I’ve been going to Marty’s Hobbies for several years now and I live in Oxnard and I believe that they have the best inventory of any hobby store in Ventura County! I personally do not need very much help when I do go in there but there have been times when I’ve needed some assistance and the staff has been more than happy to help me out so there is no problem there! So I would highly recommend Marty’s Hobbies to anyone that may be starting out with a remote control hobby of any sort plane boat car truck tank anything of that nature they have!

The absolute best hobby shop I have ever been to. All the guys here are super knowledgeable and extremely nice to talk to. They will help you fix your car too. They helped me put my TRX-4 into crawl mode and I couldn’t be happier! It’s way better now!! They have parts for whatever you need and their crawler track is awesome!!
