Very nice church. Sermon was great and atmosphere as well. It gets really full for the Sunday 11 am service. I recommend going earlier than late to secure seats. Staff were very friendly as well.

Amazing church!! I had the opportunity to visit years ago, and it was unlike any other church I have visited. Despite it being a big church, their main concern is teaching the Word of God and doing everything biblically. What amazed me, was that every person crossing the street to church, was carrying a Bible in their hands. Music was amazing too!!

I just had to share a very disturbing encounter my boyfriend and I had on Sunday, June 19th, with (assuming) 3 of the members of this church- 2 males and 1 female. They approached my boyfriend at Wat Thai Buddhist temple down the street from this church- we were enjoying the day at their Thai food court (the temple holds this food court every weekend). To start, I believe I am a Christian and I believe that Jesus died for my sins on the cross and though I may not have the strongest of relationships with God at this time, I do not question his greatness, existence nor his goodness & love in my life. With that said, the approach that these 3 people took, especially the one male who led the conversation, has left a very bad taste in my mouth. He took an extremely antagonistic approach and therefore, everything that came out of his mouth was ineffective & in my opinion, against what the Bible teaches. If I didn’t know God already, he would have made me not want to know him. Evangelizing is important, I agree- but this is not the way to do it and this was definitely not the place. The mere fact that they had the audacity to come onto another person’s place of worship (temple) and evangelize is absolutely disgusting. Americans scream on the mountain tops about their rights all the time and what’s this?? Where are all of these people’s freedom to practice their religion without having “others” try to redirect them somewhere else? If we were Buddhists at this temple, would you have stood there trying to convert us?? It was absolutely disgusting. A lot of the vendors and people enjoying the food seemed to be affiliated to the temple in one way or another. They’re opening their place of worship while sharing their culture (Thai food/desserts) with the community. Maybe, just a suggestion, your church should open up their doors and do something for the community where you can evangelize to people then/there instead of using other people’s grounds as an opportunity for yourselves. There’s a quote I heard before: “There are 2 reasons why someone is not a Christian. Because they either know one or they don’t.” — I find so much truth in this quote. Again, if I wasn’t a believer already, an encounter with these people would not have been effective in making me want to become one. To wrap things up, I hate to throw out the race card. But situations and encounters like this really make it hard for me not to. I wonder if this has anything to do with the entitlement that the white man carries (all 3 people were white)— Considering, this is a Thai Buddhist temple with the majority of the people here being Asian. If even an inkling of this entitlement exists— I would like to tell you that this is unacceptable, inappropriate, and disrespectful. & even without the existence of entitlement or race, nothing about coming to this temple in this capacity is okay. Not sure if this is a weekly evangelical ministry, specifically to go to this temple, but I would never attend a church nor trust a church that would encourage their members to do so.
Mr. Brewer
Going here for shepherd's conference was an amazing experience. This will definitely be on my yearly calendar from now on. We went with our church family group of guys and we were definitely poured into the word and encouraged to be unashamed. What a great church and what a great campus John MacArthur has here. Thank you very much for being a beacon to other churches around showing them by example how to be.

I always attend when I am in the area.
This isn't a Catholic Church, it's a non denominational church with EXCELLENT expositional teaching of the Word verse by verse!
Yes. Grace Community Church has a relationship with the Association of Biblical Counseling, and GCC had an entire counseling ministry. They will indeed counsel for your marriage.
Grace Community Church! Dr. John MacArthur is a great expositional teacher of the Scriptures
Next week, but you tickets are scarce. Call the office
Yes.
Grace is good.
You would have a better chance of knowing your answer by calling Grace Community Church
No, I don't think Grace has a good pantry program.
Hi. There are 2 services. 8:30 and 10:30 respectively.
This doesn't sound like a serious question. How would anyone even know that about a stranger? Only you know if you're hungover or buzzed. Nobody would even know unless you get sick or something.
It will be welcome. We have two services in Spanish. 8.30 AM and 10.30 AM
Sundays at 8.30 and 10.30 A.M. in Chapel (Building "chapel")
Its not about the money. If you Romy, would analyze Joel Osteens theology and doctrine he teaches, hopefully you would see he teaches a different "Jesus" with a differet "Spirit" behind it. One example of Osteen's heresies is that Jesus was born again in hell. This is flat out blasphemy which fits into the humanistic, man centered theology Osteen teaches. John ManArthur's theology is biblical and goes against all false doctrine thus against Osteen's.
Grace Community Church is in Sun Valley on Roscoe Blvd. No it's not on Ventura Blvd or near Ventura CA. It's worth the trip as you will be pleasantly surprised.
Hard to tell with pews. I have heard around 2500.
Yes!
I imagine it doesn't take a direct stance. TGC confessional statement looks to be in-line with reformation theology, though.
One of the greatest pastor I have ever meet is at Grace Church. Mr. John Mccarthy

Next service is 10:30 a.m. then 6PM Sundays. Welcome.
Sandals Church It is in Riverside Go Google and look for the information
No. There isn't.
He doesn't "hate" women who preach. He preaches against it because it is bibical. Perhaps you can read, 1 Timothy 2:11 - 15. The is always a place for women teaching, just not from the main pulpit.
Has he been invited?
The next week's bulletin is usually available online each Wednesday. It will say there.
I believe John reads from ESV mostly. Johns a major author and world renown pastor and doesnt like the glamor and attention. However he loves his flock and enjoys meeting with them. But it seems everyone and the Calvary wants to meet him. I believe at his older age it can be overwhelming at times. However I'd say yes if your desiring a fellowship and not a picture then yes he would.
Morning service ends at noon. Evening service ends at 7:30pm.
You can always check the Sunday bulletin online to see who's preaching and what topic. It is available starting Wednesdays before each Lord's Day.
8:30 and 10:30. Same as service times - so people can alternate as needed. Club meets during 6:00pm Sunday evening services, too.
I think that you have to go at the chur's offices. On sunday lts are on the welcome center
There are two services in Spanish: 8.30 am and 10.30 am + Sunday studies 8.30 am

99% It's John MacArthur. If he doesn't go out of town. An Usher
Grace community is an awesome church. Pastor John MacArthur is a very sound Bible teacher. Great special needs programs too.
They have three services on Easter Sunday, 7:00, 8:30, 10:30, normally asking regular attendees to come to the early service.
Hi Claudia, what happened?
Sunday two meetings 08:30 in the morning, followed by the school Sunday, llwgar early in the parking lots.bendiciones
Does your church accept support through gofundme?
Normal Sunday morning services with no evening service
Sunday morning services are 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. there is a children's program at 6 p.m. called Adventure Club. Currently it's on break until January 7th.
There are lots of handicap parking spots in the parking lot adjacent to church, by the Master's Seminary. If you were to look on the map, it is by Cantara Street on the back of the church. You can also drop off someone at the ramp by the bookstore and the back of the church. Hope this helps! The Christmas concert is always such an amazing presentation of music and Christmas message :-)
