I’m in love with this lovely vibrant street in Downtown Denver! The main street in Denver for shopping and flowing with the city life, offers a variety of shops and places to relax, bars, great restaurants, cinemas, galleries and more! When in Denver, you have to go there!

We visited this place because we read that it was built by architect Pei, but to be honest it is not super impressive, and doesn’t look that interesting. Just a regular mall. In the front of the building, on the little square, there are tons of shady homeless, who make the visit very displeasing. Not that it’s the mall’s problem though…

16th Street Mall is very much like Nicollet Mall, downtown Minneapolis. Food, pedestrians, drinks, shopping and more. I am not a fan that you cannot sit down anywhere, unless you pay. You have to go to a restaurant. Almost all outdoor Mall seating is gone to try and curb the homelessness and drug problems. The seating that is there is like a trap. I wasn't even sitting down when I had a security guard approach me telling me I needed to leave. Ok, sure. Why? And, I did. I didn't mention that all I was doing was putting my gloves in my bag. I'll keep going back when I am craving Caribou Coffee, Sam's or amazing Pho.

Always a fun time on the strip. Excellent selection of restaurants, bars, etc. The views are very good. The 16th st mall really gives you a different feel and angle to see most of the city.

Yes. There is a store called Only in Colorado at 601 16th Street and they have lots of Colorado stuff (And ganja stuff) like souviners, banners, t-shirts, etc.
Yes there are department stores near the "middle" of the strip and the Denver Pavilion
It is a pedestrian mall, pets on leashes are permitted but it is up to individual businesses as to what level they tolerate pets. There are a very limited number of areas where pets can urinate/defecate.
No, there aren't any stores on 16th St. Mall that are open 24 hours.
Yes there is there's a booth up on the sidewalk by Krispy Kreme and Starbucks, and that sarcastic answer from mr. Taylor he doesn't need to be a guide
Metered & lot parking. The apps make the parking less expensive.
Very family friendly. Your family will love it.
Outside the storea and dining some dining places even have water bowls for the dogos.. But considering how hoy its been i believe it would be wise to leave the dogos home the mall sidewalks and street get really hot..
Most stores are closed by 9. There are a bunch of bars open till 2am in the area . Restaurants are open pretty late most close by 11
There's seating on the median of the street. Small round tables, mostly under tree shade. Closer to the southern end there seems to be fewer homeless people /panhandling
It's absolutely allowed but it does depend on what location of the 16th street mall they want to do their dance routine. Just check where they can perform, & all should be good.
Yes there is. Yes it's open. 24 hrs. Sat. Skyline Park!!!
There actually is an arcade called For The Win on the third floor of the Pavillions but they don't sell games you just play them
Take a train or light rail to Union station and walk 1 block to the mall. Free busses run the entire length of the shopping area.
Christmas eve probably, Christmas day if they open it'll be half day, last year most of everything closed around 5, not 100% sure how it's going to go with the whole Covid situation, sorry I couldn't be of more help
There is Xbar, Vibe, Charlie's Denver
It starts at Union Station and ends at Colfax
They have a sign saying they are "moving to a new location" but no location is indicated...
Not really. I think even 7-11 closes on the 16th Street mall after 11pm.
Nope, I just thought they were doing community service or something like that?
And
Just off the mall is Sam's #3. Amazing!
Obviously too lazy to check the website and don’t know how to ring and ask!
There are expensive parking lots Haulover downtown but you will be charged for more than one spot otherwise I agree with the answers above
It is an open air mall ie: it is a long street with shops on either side including curio stores, food shops, take aways , pharmacy etc and not a traditional 'mall' that has little shops in passages
No. Look for it on Craig's list. Next time register your bike that way you can report it stolen
Tatterd Cover as well as one or two small book shops combined with other shops.
Guirys is a few blocks away on Larimer and 23rd I believe
In the center between the two lanes for the 🚌
I would say either Jimmy John's or Panera Bread. McDonald's would be the most inexpensive for sure, but I wouldn't call them the best in anything...except in being cheap.
Yes the 16th Street Mall is safe will I've been down there that for me if you want to ask that kind of question is life safe anywhere with all the goes on if you're ever in the wrong place at the wrong time just seek shelter really fast and quick you never know what's going to happen in life anyways but the 16th Street Mall I've never had to be feeling unsafe myself
It's allowed but make sure you select a location on the mall that's not occupied by any other vendors. Other than that, it should be fine.
Stop all cards call the police and lost and found
No I believe its, closed today.
He should be. Not sure of times however.
There are plenty of hotels within a block or two of 16th st with varying prices. One that's right for you will depend on how much you want to spend.
Police shooting near the light rail station at California.
By justice do you mean Law Enforcement? If so, then DPD maintains a very visible presence along the entire length of the Mall. Should you have questions or problems, all you need do is contact them.
Yes, it's outdoor and fine. Previous poster was right, though- almost all animals are with the homeless.
Im not sure, I'm. Not from there, I Was on vacation and was looking for something to do. I parked in a garage and they charged me 18..00 for 1 hours parking. Outrageous !!
Yes there is I'll be open at 11am monday morning. It would be wise to call ahead for anything besides a flat out purchase of merchandise. I'd imagine the line will be a mile long and appointment only for repairs, advise and questions Gods speed🖖🏽 lol
No their just are scooters but if you are older and unsure of your riding skills maybe a bike rickshaw is more for you, or walking never hurt.
