Loved the goats, bit of a hike depending on time of day and age of parties involved. Very friendly goats and staff to assist. Adult and baby goats separated. Awesome free activity for the kids. 3 chickens nearby and pretty waterfall. Lots of walking trails. Limited parking, suggest arriving early. If parking at playhouse, need to move your car by noon

I love history. This place makes you feel like you step back in time. Absolutely beautiful. Took my family here last week. We enjoyed it

Beautiful place to hike, spend time with goats, and learn about the Sandburgs. Three baby goats were born today, one while we were there. I have brought my kids for years, and it's always fun.

The home and tours were not open. However it was open and free to walk the trails and pet the goats which was surprisingly fun. There were a couple NPS guides at the goat barn and they were good about answering questions. This was a very pleasant way to spend an hour or two.

You should definitely call the park headquarters the superintendent and/or the head of the museum arm would be very intrigued.
If you are talking about the senior citizen pass to the National Parks, yes you can purchase those there. But is free to tour the grounds and 3 dollars charge to tour the house. However, they are renovating the home now so they are NOT charging to tour the house.
Yes, unfortunately, many of the buildings are closed due to the pandemic and federal regulations regarding the pandemic. They are in the processed of a phased reopening of the park to return over time to the experience of the park before the pandemic.
Yes, as long as the dogs are on a leash
If the shuttle is not available that day, you can call the house from the phone at the visitors station at the base of the hill and they can assist you in alternative parking.
Yes, still under renovation til 2018. Still beautiful.
I am not sure what library you mean but the park is staffed 9-5 daily. The park is open from dawn to dusk daily. The store/gift shop is open Fridays-Sundays 10-2pm currently. The house is closed right now and the public is still not allowed in the goat barn or the goat pasture but can stand by the fence and pet goats that come up to them. Do not feed the goats anything for any reason. The strange hours and closures are due to the pandemic and will likely be changing soon.
They are restricted due to covid, hopefully not permanently.
Currently the grounds are open but most structures, including the house, are closed to the public. No tours currently available. The gift shop/store is open 10-2 Fridays-Sundays. This should change as the federal government eases it's pandemic restrictions. Not sure how pandemic operations and the aftermath of that could affect pricing.
No, they don't allow hunting or fishing on the grounds. It's focused on conservation/preservation and public education.
