Absolutely beautiful location and the cider donuts are awesome. The lines are super long during popular hours, which is understandable, but so many things were then sold out once we got up to the counter and there was no indication of that when we were waiting in line. There were also no apples to be found on the trees in late September, so definitely plan accordingly if apple picking is important to you. Walking around is free but you’ll pay a premium for everything else.

My daughter & I visited Skytop on Friday October 29, 2021 - Let me tell you guys.... This place was AWESOME ! The ride up is beautiful on its own & once you make it there, it's even better ! The views from around the property are amazing. The kids had a blast there because there was loads of things to do. Depending on time of the year, you are able to pick apples from trees and they have SO MAMY DIFFERENT varieties as well. They have hay rides and a "Bee Train" for the kids. Playground & seating areas all around the property. They have loads of items for purchase. Such as ☆FRESH☆ Hot Apple Cider Doughtnuts - ( these are right out of Heaven, let me tell you ! ), kettle corn, different jarred Salsas & jams. Bags of apples or "make your own bags", where you can mix and match which apples you like, are available for purchase. They also have animals - such as ducks, goats, sheep, chickens & peacocks 🦚! You can view them ( and feed them for a small fee ( I think it was .25 for a handful of feed. ) There was loads if grass around that they had said we were welcome to feed to them as well. They also have an " Apple Cannon " ! It was gorgeous during the day & I can only imagine how beautiful it'd be in the evenings/night time. This is definitely a North Carolina gem ! If you haven't been, go! 🚜🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🥰❤

This would be a 5-star review if the apple orchard wasn’t so severely picked over already. We walked down several different rows of apple trees and found none worth picking. This isn’t to say that we had a bad time or that there was nothing to do. On the contrary, it was a very positive experience and I look forward to returning earlier in the Apple Picking season next time. Even though the orchard offered little in the way of apple picking from the trees, they do have bins full of Fuji, Gala, Pink Lady, etc. in the covered market area. You can pay $25 for a bag, or $2/pound in the “Mix and Match” area. They also sell honey, jams, preserves, different mixes for pies, waffles, fritters, as well as pumpkins of all sizes and colors, and some very odd looking gourds. Multiple activities for the children, including riding the “Bee Train” (for $3/person), and several free playgrounds with slides and swings, and free photo opportunities with cutouts for your head. There’s also an Apple Cannon, which is a big mounted pneumatic gun that shoots apples at stationary targets. I know there’s a cost, but I never saw prices posted for that. Looks like fun! We were there on a day when four school buses were also doing field trips there, and it was crowded and noisy. But most people were in good spirits and there were loads of smiling, happy customers. If you want to buy food, the must have items are the Apple cider donuts (served very hot) and Apple cider. Pumpkin donuts are also available ($7 half-dozen or $12 for a dozen). And if you like alcohol, Sky Top has their own Hard Apple Cider in aluminum cans. Flavors were Apple and Cherry-Apple. There are bathroom facilities near the playground for men and women with air dryers. And Parking is plenteous, but a bit of a walk, so get there on the early side. They are open from 9 AM - 6 PM. Whenever I asked people I knew for Apple Picking options, Sky Top Orchard was always one of the first to be mentioned. My family had fun, and that’s really what it’s about. As it’s only a 45-minute drive from Greenville, SC, I’ll definitely visit again, and would eagerly recommend it to anyone.

Sky Top is awesome!!! They have a huge orchard with so many activities. They have a very large playground, animals, an apple cannon, a bamboo forest, tractor rides, donuts, and my favorite part, hard cider! You can easily spend several hours here. I would definitely go back.

I visited today, Donuts, Apple Picking and cidar buyouts were all through cash or check
I didnt see any when I went and I dont think there was any on the seasonal list
We spend about 4 hours because we pack a lunch and eat after picking apples
Go early! Peak times are between 10am-3pm
I think I remember seeing those. Not 100% sure tho. It was so busy when we went that we didn't stay long.
I am sorry but we only sell it at the orchard. We are closed until late July.
They stay fresh longer if you keep them in your crisper. I usually line the surface of drawer to absorb any additional moisture and keep the area dry and conducive to apples staying fresh a lot longer.
