A good camp for kids and teens. There is a wide variety of activities for varying skill and outdoors comfort levels. There are opportunities to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings and field trips beyond the camp property which is expansive and stocked with all camp amenities. It’s well organized and run by people who care and the communication and near daily pictures from the camp and camp policies and atmosphere are thoughtfully made to create a good experience. The staff and the counselors are kind and the food is good. They are careful and thoughtful regarding covid safety. There is a culture of kindness and inclusivity modeled by everyone there. Shout out to Cliff the counselor.

A place to grow, learn, and play amongst the beautiful North Carolina mountains. As a child, I found my place in the world here. Now as an adult and parent, I am proud to send my children to a camp that I know is loving, nurturing, and incredibly fun and rewarding. If you are looking for a camp where your children will become a part of a family, this is the place.
