We were pleasantly surprised that our stay included pool passes, mini golf and tennis courts. The pool was fantastic.

Positive experience. Very nice camp hosts. We were put into a spot with a deck. It was close to the laundry. Parking with the car was limited. The pictures give you a good idea It's a pretty and well tended campground.

This is a great campground. Reasonably priced. Easy access to site. Entire campground was clean including bathrooms. Hook-ups were well maintained. Campground had all new picnic tables. We love visiting Maggie Valley and would stay here again! Being on a busier road is a downside and it can be noisy at times but didn't bother us for the most part.

A perfect spot to enjoy the lake view and lake amenities. Has laundry, rest rooms and some premium balcony spots as well. Stayed one night and felt really comfortable. Staff was welcoming. Has free access to pool, do ask for it at office. The pool is surrounded by lake and has a great view.

What time is check in at the Lake Junaluska Campground?

Judy Possinger | Aug 2, 2020
Joseph Glass | Aug 3, 2020

During school time DO NOT show up between 3 and 3:45 PM, no matter what your paperwork says. School traffic will make checking in and getting to your site extremely difficult. FYI the school next door uses the same access road. School runs from August through May. Otherwise what Nathan said.

What's it cost for a tent sight

phillip patterson | Aug 3, 2018
Joseph Glass | Aug 4, 2018

Price plus tax comes to about $23 a night. Contrary to the negative comment each site has a gravel pad for the tent, fire pit, water and electric. About half the sites are be a stream and the others are on the hill. All but two sites are in full shade.

How much is rental of a lot for a month in the summer for a RV?

Lynn Delp | Aug 3, 2018
Joseph Glass | Aug 4, 2018

The campground has a monthly rate; best to call the campground office for info. If you want a pull through or you have a large RV you will be on the lower area next to the street. If the campground is not full you may have a choice in where you can go.
