There is not much green in this greenway park trail. You were on a sidewalk on a busy road for most of it. Would not recommend for ride with kids. The park itself is nice. Just would not recommend for bike riding the trail.

The beginning of this greenway and the end of this greenway are GREAT! The middle is a joke, hardly a greenway. It is a sidewalk along a fairly busy road, in a not so good looking part of town. Someone said let’s put a trail at the end connecting Waynesville to Lake Junaluska and call it a greenway. To get from one end to the other you have to cross MANY streets, and go thru a roundabout. Not recommended if you are planning this trail with kids.
