Great service, great administration, I went to adopt a kitten.

The facility is really well maintained and the employees are extremely professional and connected to the cause. It was such a great experience having our aunt adopt here while so many other families did too.

The best animal care county run facility I have ever seen. The staff are amazing they respond quickly professionally and show their genuine care for all the pets in their facility. We picked up a two-year-old lab mix and the experience was just the best ever. The staff were all very nice, kind hearted and genuinely care for every single dog cat rabbit horse etc. We bought the whole family over along with our county adopted multis poodle mix family dog. Everyone had time to meet and greet our newest addition to our family.

Hi, Judy Handy. I have 6kittens that are 2weeks old they will be ready in 6weeks if your interested. you can come see them when they are ready, to pick one if you like
Yes you can , int the computer over there or asking on reception.
It's no no kill for wild kitties.
You can check the Lancaster center
Thank you, Georgette.
It's a great question. But you got to keep in mind this is a public posting. To find out if they actually are hiring you would have to go to the Palmdale Animal Care Center facility. You can make all your inquiries there

Adoption Fees Our adoption fees vary, depending on how long an animal has been in our care. If an animal has been in our care ten days or less, the adoption fee is $50. If the animal has been in our care more than ten days, the adoption fee is $30. In addition to the adoption fee, the sterilization fee for a dog is $50 and $40 for a cat and the microchip fee is $15 (includes national registration). Additional charges may include fees for licensing (for those living within our service areas) or pain medication (dependent on whether the animal needed to be spayed/neutered). Please see our home page for promotions and discounts on adoption fees.
Trap
If you realy think its a stray yes But if it belongs to a neghbor nock on there door tell them to get there cat abd pat for your skreen
There are costs associated with adoption, but they cover the vaccines, spay/neutering, microchipping, etc. It really is a value.
They ask that animals are brought to another site. Downey animal shelter is where you can adopt.
That's an interesting question. But I think you have to actually call them to find that information. This is a public posting messaging and questions
You go up to the double glass doors and on the right side of the right door is an intercom press the button and they will ask you to go around the corner to the left of the double glass doors and buzz you in
In my neighborhood some families have.
Make an appointment to see what animals that are available. They will help you with the process once you have found one.
Was there to put down my Girlfriends dog, they were gentle and compassionate
Yes
Yes they accept dogs, u can call ahead or drop it off if you don't get a hold of a live person on phone
Appointments needed
It should cost any where from 100.00 to 150.00 because of micro chip spay or neutering and all the shots so at the most 200.00 just to be safe
They are doing appointments through email so you have to find the dog or cat that you want and send an email they will get back to you pretty fast so this is the number you can call (661) 575-2888
Go to their website search animals then choose site, animal, ect.
No
Hi, I'm not exactly sure but you can always check out their website or any local shelter. Petsmart...
Yes and can spay and neuter and microchip.
No. I dint see any but you can go on their website and you can look at all the animals that have
They have rates based on whether the dog is over 6 months or under. They won't charge you based on breed or size at maturity. The adoption fee includes spay and neuter as per county animal shelter guidelines.
You can just go and they will give you service or you can just Google the place and they will have the number to make a appointment
I'm not sure but you can call and find out
You can legally own 4 licensed dogs. More than 4 requires a breeders permit/license.
I think you have to apply for a permit after 4 dogs.
Usually it means they were adopted, unless they were taken to a different facility
city of la is no kill, which means 90% of animals are saved.
Chips are implanted subdermally between the shoulder blades, however as they are not locked in place to a muscle or the skin itself (which would be hazardous to the animal's health) they have a tendency to move around the animal, most stay near where they are implanted but not all.
Thank You all Not interested in information. Please only contact if you have Puppy for sale, locally
I used one of those clinics for one of my dogs and it was excellent.
Yes they will, I think there is a fee of about $10 if you just want it disposed and nothing special like having the ashes boxed for you.
I don't know that so sorryΒ‘!
They do. Call for dates and times.
Feed your dogs indoors. If there's no food, the cats will move somewhere else.
I dont and never have worked there in Palmdale. I am an app guide. They dont euthanize unless the pet is beyond repair. They dont even kill feral cats unless their killers. Maybe downtown Los Angeles does but not Palmdale.
I wish i could help you. But i dont work there and never have. I believe micro chipping is extra.
LA county animal control gives all dogs being adopted rabies shots.
Probably around $15
No.
Yes its the safest place to take your pets
I'm sure you can try if the animal is in real danger you can call the police
Goodness!!! What have you got in private there to hide, and why are you so insecure about a visit?
To test your patience as the ability needed to be a good animal caretaker...You failed.
No why would I have it?
I was told no refunds but you can get credit towards another dog
Question them as to where your dog is
Best thing to do is for you to bring him/her to the center.
Call or go into the shelter, they can give you this information. In the lancaster shelter they have flyers on the wall that give information about free spay/neuter locations
They have alot of german shepards and alot of big breed dogs they have a website u can check out. Not all dogs will be posted but most of them
Not to my knowledge
Call animal control they might tell you what you have to do, if that doesn't work call the police
No. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer
If you see that someone is abusing those cats, put a report on the shelter site
If the dog is available for adoption you take it home that same day.
They do have volunteers and I think they are needed daily. You should call them.
I suggest go in meet the potential pet, then u submit your interest in that pet with their ID. And let them process you might have to be on a list to adopt that pet if here are others interested . Pay the fees if u get it and your done they set a date for u to pick it up
Pretty sure they do. I d go in and ask to be sure
You can go on the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control website and you can see all the animals they have available in the animal shelter in all of Los Angeles County
You can volunteer once you are 16.
Check their website, it differs for dogs and cats and the owner's age.
Have you taken your sick dog to the vet or are you just wanting them to euthanize?
a
It is a process u must do in person and u have to get to know the pet...@least a couple of hours
Call Animal Control
That's a better question for your city council, as they actually make the laws and ordinances.
There is a dog that gets on my property and I can't get mine out to do their needs because it is good to attack the male, the alien is germansheper mine shitzu Hens have disappeared from me and dead rabbits and my garbage appear everywhere that breaks the boxes or bags where I deposit them, I hold on and bark at me I do not know who it is from .. but every day it is on my property day and night what can I do I live in llano california it is just my 2 month that we moved to this house
What critters are available for adoption, especially specific breeds, changes with what they rescue. I'd recommend calling the shelter and asking them directly.
