Adoption Fees Our adoption fees vary, depending on how long an animal has been in our care. If an animal has been in our care ten days or less, the adoption fee is $50. If the animal has been in our care more than ten days, the adoption fee is $30. In addition to the adoption fee, the sterilization fee for a dog is $50 and $40 for a cat and the microchip fee is $15 (includes national registration). Additional charges may include fees for licensing (for those living within our service areas) or pain medication (dependent on whether the animal needed to be spayed/neutered). There are costs associated with adoption, but they cover the vaccines, spay/neutering, microchipping, etc. It really is a value.

They have rates based on whether the dog is over 6 months or under. They won't charge you based on breed or size at maturity. The adoption fee includes spay and neuter as per county animal shelter guidelines.

You can legally own 4 licensed dogs. More than 4 requires a breeders permit/license.

Chips are implanted subdermally between the shoulder blades, however as they are not locked in place to a muscle or the skin itself (which would be hazardous to the animal's health) they have a tendency to move around the animal, most stay near where they are implanted but not all.

I dont and never have worked there in Palmdale. I am an app guide. They dont euthanize unless the pet is beyond repair. They dont even kill feral cats unless their killers. Maybe downtown Los Angeles does but not Palmdale.

I suggest go in meet the potential pet, then u submit your interest in that pet with their ID. And let them process you might have to be on a list to adopt that pet if here are others interested . Pay the fees if u get it and your done they set a date for u to pick it up

There is a dog that gets on my property and I can't get mine out to do their needs because it is good to attack the male, the alien is germansheper mine shitzu Hens have disappeared from me and dead rabbits and my garbage appear everywhere that breaks the boxes or bags where I deposit them, I hold on and bark at me I do not know who it is from .. but every day it is on my property day and night what can I do I live in llano california it is just my 2 month that we moved to this house

What critters are available for adoption, especially specific breeds, changes with what they rescue. I'd recommend calling the shelter and asking them directly.
