I had to call the City of Palmdale Building and safety for an issue about my lot. After I left a message for the engineer with the suggestion of the receptionist, I did not receive a call back. I also called four times and talked to the receptionist to transfer me to the Building and safety engineer for my questions and each time she told me he is busy and will return your call with no avail. One time I called at 11:30 am and i realized that the City employees are on a break from 11:00 AM to 1:30 pm, and they are closed on Fridays. I realized then how our tax monies are getting wasted by these rules and every election cycle we are hit with additional tax and fees either foe homelessness, road repairs, etc. These are all for the politicians to have more money to feed their corrupt backers and their families.
