A incredible beautiful place so close to the town but it feels like you're in a middle of the forest I recommend it to everybody

Very peaceful. I am handicapper and the only handicap space was right up against the highway and very exposed to the entire campground. I prefer spaces 17& 19. There's a beautiful road for hiking but closed to vehicles. Water spigots and large trash receptacle.

On the pro side: it is probably the closest campground you can get to from the city of Los Angeles (maybe 25-minute drive). I was there in October when the creek was completely dry (which was a con) but it runs right through the middle of the camp and Iβm sure in Spring it has a lovely sound. It has the standard vault (no water) toilets and trash bins. There is a decent amount of shade. On the con side: most of the campsites are among the smallest Iβve seen. Some of the sites would not have enough room for more than a small tent. If the campground were entirely full, depending on the site you get, your neighbors might be 20-feet away. Given there are 19 campsites, even one obnoxious or loud group could ruin it for the entire camp. Itβs that small. Also too, the entire campground is about 20 feet immediately beneath the main road and vehicle noise is very prominent. I would recommend trying to get a site that is on the east side of the camp, and more towards the south end. It can be a nice quick getaway, but itβs not tranquil, quiet, or secluded.

Robert is the camp host. Real nice guy. Yes you can use fire pits.
Wat part u trying to vist
It would only be closed if weather conditions are bad that they would close off the roads which lead to the campgrounds. Which usually is during the winter. Other than that it is open 24 hours. It's a pretty hidden campground. I'm sure you can get a spot anytime. To make sure though I would say anytime during the week, but before evening time on Fridays. Weekends would be tough to call. We went Sunday during Memorial weekend and was able to choose from 5 different spots. Hope this helps.
Emmanuel Hernandez, Memorial weekend, u probably should be there already!!!
$12/night. You pay at the kiosk and put the money envelope in the collection box.
If they are allowed we can only do them in a round container that is fixedly stuck in place
It is too shallow to swim. Kids have a blast playing in the water.
That is a huge area if there isn't a place to shoot than there should be... In other words I don't know sorry
Each campsite has a parking space for 2 vehicles, there is 1 site with space for 4 vehicles or larger RV and has 2 tables as well as 2 grills.
It's $12 per day, cash only. No need to reserve but recommended to guarantee a spot.
