The Edition on Oberlin is a great place to live. The location right between Village District and NC State made everything so convenient! The staff is so pleasant and responsive and they quickly replied to any troubles or questions I had.

The area is great to live in and the apartment building is very new/nice; however, the one time I've had a maintenance issue, it has not been handled with any sense of urgency. I've been left for over a week without AC with no confirmed time of when the issue will be resolved. UPDATE: After the management team fully understood the urgency in which my AC needed to be repaired, they worked with the vendor to swap out my AC unit within a day. I've updated my rating to reflect my satisfaction with the team's tenacity for addressing the problem.

The Edition on Oberlin has been a wonderful place for me. The location is perfect - everything is right there in walking distance. The layout of my small apartment is brilliant - mine is 676 sq feet and because of the design, it feels plenty big and I have lots of space. I've lived in lots of apartments that were nice but were just a place. This one feels like a home. It's light and airy, great herringbone backsplash, granite counters and a great counter bar. Lots of cabinets. The dishwasher is very efficient and the washer/dryer works very well. Everything is new, modern, and gorgeous. I'm toward the front of the building and don't hear neighbors at all. The young women in the office are not only friendly but also helpful. I'm a bit older (ay, a senior but not too old) and they've always offered to help. I didn't need it but since I live alone and just had surgery, it's nice to know. Also, any time I've emailed, I've gotten an answer very quickly. The maintenance guy is great. He always wears a mask, fixes things quickly and is friendly and sweet. The lounge and open areas are gorgeous. Also the halls are kept clean. My daughter came to visit from college and getting a temporary parking sticker for her was easy peasy. Like someone mentioned, there are things, but they are few - and every place has them. Each time there is an issue, the office lets us know and addresses it quickly. As mentioned by someone else, they have also tested the fire alarm, but let us know beforehand each time. The fire alarm is loud, but I sleep like a dead person, literally have slept through a tornado, so I'm glad it'll wake me up. It's the first place I've ever lived that tests them which made me feel safe. I visited a lot of places in this area and this is the best I have seen, for location, responsiveness of staff, layout and beauty!

This place is the best apartment complex I've ever lived. The lounge and common areas are always so clean and well kept. The new management listens to our concerns and takes them seriously to improve aspects of our living areas. They added a new printer and are planning to add another cardio machine in the gym all based on resident feedback. I love this place and would highly recommend living here with a dog as well. The only temporary issue I have has nothing to do with this apartment complex, just a specific resident who I've noticed has deliberately taken advantage of the resources, staff, and amenities here. In fact, he's probably added to the bad reviews on here -- I wouldn't trust Alex G's opinion and review whatsoever.
