Our first trip and last trip here. The staff was very unprofessional. We had music going and the camp host said we can't have music. And then she said if she comes back again we would have problems. It was our first time camping here. Mind you our campsite had non white folks. It's ok because the day we leave I am going to get her Supervisors number and file a complaint. The area is nice though. The campground was ok.

We had a great time at this campground with our friends. The sights are large and it's fairly quiet, except for the wolves howling at 3 am. There are plenty of tall trees which give natural shade. My only issue is the bathrooms. No soap, no paper towels and ran out of toilet paper. Just bring your own and you'll be good!

Place is great. Bathrooms are well kept and have hot showers. Camp hosts are very nice and have a beautiful family. They also have wood, propane for camp stoves and if you ask nice they might let you use their ax to chop your own wood if a fallen tree is near your campsite. Very great getaway place. Camp 1 is good for people watching. All the outskirts camps are good for secludedness. A+

Well maintained park, great rangers and a beautiful view ! Has bathrooms and showers with hot water which is great. Great place to go hiking, can walk a ways and also fish or drive up to big Bear lake. This is a highlight for me every year we go with family and friends. Look forward to this every year.

You are about 40 minutes away from Big Bear Lake...we go up there everytime we camp at San Gorgonio Family Campground...you can swim in designated beaches.
No, not from this Campground
It opens mid April and stays open until the end of September. There are not any hookups at the campsites. You can use your generator between 8am and 10pm. You can get water and dump next door at Barton Flats. They have restrooms and a couple of showers near the entrance.
I know one of the services that it does have is T-Mobile. Not sure if any other.
Yes it's by the entrance, but it's not by the road... There is quite some distance between the entrance to the sites and the actual entrance to the Campground.
When I was there, 2 women were bear naked. Nobody was harmed though.
Not really, if it's in the wet time of year you might be lucky to see Frog Creek running which also goes by the very small visitor center near the YMCA Camp. Other than that you can check out Jenks Lake or if you want a real treat, drive to Big Falls in Forrest Falls which is about a 45 minute drive down but well worth it.
Yes ✅
$8.00 per night extra vehicle.
Yes there is a bear in the area but he is use to ppl so if you don't bother him he will just leave you be. We watched him play in lake Jenkins and then just move on with no problems
Sorry no water parks. Closest big water park is in San Dimas called Raging Waters probably an hour from there.
All sites can be reserved online at San Gorgonio. If no reservation has been made for a particular night in a certain site #, you may select it for "one night only" on a walk-in basis. Anyone who might reserve it online the next night would have rights to the spot. South Fork campground up the road, is walk-in only.
