2 nd time coming here! For the 4th of July weekend! Plenty of trails. The rangers are very friendly. It was movie night. They rocked setting it up! Also they have a library box outside rangers office. We also went down 2 tecate for lunch, tacos , brews and bakery oh and bought fresh ground coffee. Of course we walked it! Parked walking distance from border. Of course paid. ! No waiting in line both ways!

Needs potable water. Otherwise a clean site. I would stay again.

My husband stayed here on a cross country biking trip. Said it was nice and relaxing. Wants to ho back and camp here with the family next time.

Shady open with lots of trees. Friendly rangers. Clean and well maintained facilities. Toilet paper and paper towels

Call the San Diego Park System
There is also a full time ranger at the office. They maybe out of the office but the status board is pretty easy to understand red taken black reserved and green open. Cash drop nothing larger than a 20 dollar bill tho. Bring smaller bills and 5 bucks for firewood per bundle
