Tony and I went on a Road Trip to Natural Bridge VA where we hiked a total of 3 miles. We were able to see the beautiful arch, a saltpeter cave, an underground river and a waterfall. It was a very lovely park. It cost $18 for both of us and the day was beautiful. Totally enjoyed the park 100% and definitely recommend to all

We made a pit stop here on our trip from I-81 and we had our dogs with us. It was a quick hike down to see the bridge. Less than .5 mile. Beautiful and an amazing place. You do have to pay $9 per person to visit the bridge and dogs are allowed on leashes. Tickets can be bought inside the visitor center or on the path to the natural bridge.

I've wanted to see Natural Bridge since I was a little girl and it did NOT disappoint! Absolutely awe inspiring, beautiful, majestic. Any other superlatives you can think of to describe it! To be 100% honest, it's 167 steps down to the rangers station, then there's a nice walk on a paved pathway to the beautiful Bridge. Plenty of benches so you can sit & look at the Bridge, study it to your heart's content. Walk on farther down the pathway to see where George Washington carved his initials. The path ends at a waterfall, so keep going until you get there to see that! Take your time getting back up the steps, plenty of resting places on the way to the top. Lots to see in the Visitor's Center, be sure to check it out. There's an active beehive with glass sides so you can watch the bees at work. See if you can find the Queen Bee! There's a LOVE sign there that's definitely cool, & a painted cow too! All in all, this was an incredible natural wonder & definitely worthwhile!

Wow nature at its best. This is one of the best natural monument I have seen in Virginia. (For more details on how to get entry here refer my review in natural bridge state park place in google map) Below are main attractions 1. It is walkable distance (takes average 8 minutes to get here) from main visitor center 2. It is beauty with water flowing below the bridge , sounds of birds and cool breeze will soothe your body and mind 3. Take abundant photo 4. There are benches to sit and enjoy the bridge 5. After Bridge you will see Monacan Indian history spot which tells about tribal life who used to stay around here . It was closed when we visited back in March 2022 After Monacan Indian history spot you can visit Lace falls which is decent spot

The shuttle bus is provided but only for the stairs walkway portion, the rest of the pathway you will have to either walk or use your own wheelchair
After you take the shuttle the walk to the Bridge is only 50 yards at most.
Yes we can park large vehicles . Large vehicle slots were near to the end.
f you have a Virginia State Parks annual pass, 4 people get in at no cost. Otherwise it is $8 for 13 and up, $6 for ages 6-12 and under 6 is free.
Technically, no. State parks in Virginia prohibit drones. Realistically, you probably can as long as you are unintrusive.
Yes. The dog must be under your control at all times and on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Unless it is a service animal based on the ADA definition, dogs are not allowed in any public buildings or rest rooms.
If you have a handicapped placard you can get in free (bring your wallet card to the desk). If not, if you are military or social security disabled you can send the paperwork to our customer service center and they will give you a pass that will get you in free at this park and free parking at our others. Call 800-933-7275 M-F 9-5.
It's $8 per person
About an hour leisurely walk to from visitor center, under the arch to the waterfall and back.
