Staying at the Inn at Forest Oaks was an amazing experience! My husband and I just returned from a two night stay and it was simply wonderful. The house and grounds are gorgeous; definitely a relaxing vacation spot. The house was spotless. The breakfasts they provided tasted excellent with abundant portions. All of the guests commented on how nice the presentation of breakfast was also. Cliff and Chris are great hosts, paying attention to each detail to make it a wonderful experience for all. It is perfectly located near the Natural Bridge and only has a short drive to neighboring towns. My husband and I plan to return for a stay in the future!

I can’t say enough good things about staying at the Inn at Forest Oaks. It is the perfect place to relax and have fun. Owners Chris and Cliff will delight you with their stories and food. We stayed for three days and couldn’t wait to wake up for the breakfasts in the mornings. In the late afternoons we could be found on their rocking chairs reading and enjoying the stunning views from the back porch or in the Billiard’s room playing pool on the antique table. Chris and Cliff make you feel as if you are staying with your best friends. We loved sharing their lovely home full of the most exquisite antiques. I cannot wait to go back.

My husband and I spent two nights at The Inn at Forest Oaks, and we had the most wonderful time! It was our first time in a bed and breakfast, and we can’t wait to be back! The food was delicious. The bed was comfortable. And, the views were beautiful. Chris was even nice enough to show his antique audio players to my husband and give us a tour of the bakery and the antique shop. Also, if you’re able to put in an order from the bakery - do it! My husband ate a cinnamon roll with every meal as soon as we got back home.

Where do I begin, words cannot describe how enchanting and tranquil this bed and breakfast is. We had the most memorable weekend away filled with lots of positive memories. From the moment you step into this home, you’re transported back to a time where you can escape the daily stress of every day life. We came to recharge, reconnect and meet new people. We did all of that and then some. Chris and Cliff have done a remarkable job at restoring this beautiful mansion, their attention to detail has surpassed any expectations we had. Every single piece in this home has history, every antique in this home fits perfectly and the ambience of this home makes an unexpected impact. We read the reviews online and somehow we were still surprised and blown away from the hospitality and customer service we received. The towels were so fluffy, the bedroom was so inviting, the drapes were gorgeous, the view was spectacular and the overall presence of other guests was positive. We asked to feed the horses and Chris cut up some apples for us to feed them, it was a wonderful experience and the horses loved it. The breakfast was absolutely delightful, and sitting around the table interacting with other guests while enjoying the Mountain Views was something you won’t forget. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast, we will be back. We have already started recommending this place to all of our family and friends. Thank you Chris and Cliff for brining a little piece of history back to modern life.

That is something you would need to talk to the owner about. Cliff is very helpful. The dining room is very large and there is a large veranda off of it with a beautiful backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
