The pears from this orchard are absolutely delicious! This is the second year I've received a box as a gift from a friend. They're a fabulous gift and worth every penny! Definitely not like Asian Pears you pick up at your local grocery store. Sweet, crisp, juicy with distinct flavor. So wonderful! This year my friend also included a large bag of apples she bought at the self-serve shop on the farm. I don't know what kind of apples these are but I must say that these apples are like no apples I have EVER eaten in my life. In fact, I had no idea an apple could even taste like this!!! They are so crisp and so sweet and juicy and enormous!!!! If you can get a bag or box of these apples you will NOT be disappointed!!!! I'm not sure if these are Fuji or Honeycrisp apples or something else. Seriously, I have NEVER eaten an apple like these in my life!!!!!!

I love supporting small business. I just stopped by for the first time today, Nov 19 2017. They have 3 different types of Asian pears, 3 different types are persimmons, honey, Asian pear jam, and more. It is chestnuts season, and it's the main reason why I stopped by. Their chestnuts are pesticides free!! And I think she mentioned organic, too. I bought 2 bags of chestnuts for $4.99 each, 4 little jars of Asian pear jam for about $6 each, 1 big Asian pear, and 2 little persimmons for $38.98. a lot more than I expected, but once I added everything up, it made more sense. I will definitely stop by next time I drive through. The owner was very friendly.

Yes we do have persimmons - 3 kinds! but they are very limited each year so you should call and ask before you arrive. Persimmons are usually late fall fruits so October is a good time to catch them before they are sold out. Asian pears are our main crop but there are lots of other things we sell in person at the farm. Check our website and facebook for a full list!
Hi Haven, right now we dont offer pick your own pears. We do have U-pick blackberries in late summer (July-first week of August). We always have free samples of all our pears. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions about our farm :)
