So hot!! They would not turn the a/c on enough to cool lobby or restaurants. The a/c in your room is louder than the tv. We had to ask front desk twice for towels, they NEVER sent them. Cottages have no outside trash cans and they do not empty trash in your room until you leave. Breakfast was ok but limited choices. I asked for 2 orange juices and the waiter rolled his eyes, walked away and brought them 10 min later when he saw my husband and son sit down. They charged for all drink refills. We left cash for tip (which he should not have got), paid bill with card. They still charged $10 for tip. So 2 adults, one child, 1 refill =$72.56. Needs updating and cleaning. Would not stay there again.

Positive: The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant and bar waitstaff. Friendly, attentive and accommodating, they exceeded expectations with a smile. Negative: The hotel bills itself as "pet-friendly," but we soon found out why no other guests had pets. While the hotel does allow you to keep a pet in the room, they will not allow you to leave them there while you eat at one of the in-house restaurants.

First let me say this place is good. It's priced right, I could bring my dog & the staff was friendly & helpful & we felt safe. Also it's located where all the attractions we wanted to visit. They definitely could do some deep cleaning in the rooms & some additional training for their wait staff. But all in all it was nice. The "romance package " is a waste of money. The wine that is included is cheap & nasty. With all the wineries around you'd think that they would try to highlight one of them. But other than that the place was ok.

This is a fine old historic hotel. It is right across the street from the natural bridge park. It's similar to other historic ends and hotels have stayed in. My room was clean. I found the bed comfortable except for the pillows. I have a room looking toward the mountains with little porch. It was very nice. Like so many places you can tell they are struggling back to full after the pandemic and staffing shortages. The staff who are here are polite and wonderful. I took one point off the rooms because they need better pillows.
