Been at this property for two years. The property has a communal laundry - there has been times when people had to either take their laundry to a laundromat or not do laundry for a couple weeks because the washers are out of order. During the fall, the whole community’s A/C turns off and the heater is the only thing working. So if it’s a hot fall day, the A/C will not work. They have leaf blowers every other day, so if you work night shift, be warned. We’ve asked for updated blinds that we saw in the “remodeled” apt. but never got a response back. However, they are quick to enter our apartment to update light switches and windows, while leaving a mess afterwards. It’s a cheap place that is good for a year lease max.

Don't expect anything to happen on time. The property manager is a snowbird named Julie that treats her job like a little hobby during retirement that she doesn't take very seriously. If you decide to live here, just keep your fingers crossed that nothing major goes wrong on a Friday like the AC going out because you and the 100 other people that live on the property can just suffer for days in the sweltering heat since her weekend leisure time is more important. Its already happened with the hot water. Boiler goes down on a Friday and instead of getting it fixed ASAP like she should, she just left the issue for the following week even though that meant no one would have hot water for days. And the least she could've done was offer an apology but that was beneath her. All she could say in this weird little patronizing text message she sent to everyone in the complex was "Major bummer" Truly the definition of a slumlord!!

ever since diamond management purchased this place has gone down hill. They do not answer your calls, return your calls, answer the emails, claim they send them back when surprise surprise there's no email received. The incompetence is outrageous! Property manager is NEVER in the office. They're more concerned with weaseling their way into your apartments without proper dates than actually getting things done. Currently, since it's been getting hot in phoenix arizona, they won't turn the chiller on even though its very much 85+ inside. If i wasn't hard on money I would have moved out when they purchased the place. Ridiculous.

I absolutely love living here, this place really is a hidden gem. When we moved in the apartment was spotless and the maintenance worker was quick to finish up anything that needed to be done. The property manager Belinda is really nice too. The amount of closet space and extra storage you get here is really good and the building holds insulation well. The utility service is great and ends up being way less than I paid at my old smaller apartment when I had APS. The neighbors are friendly and the complex feels really safe and quiet too.

Questions & Answers

How is the air conditioning? Parking issues? Car break ins?

Depends on the layout of the apartment. Most of us here have warm bedrooms and cool main rooms. It's tolerable . The area is nice enough. There was a rash of car break-ins a year back, but I haven't heard anything else. Each person gets one covered car space.

How much is the rent and are there 2 bedrooms? How soon can you move in and how much is it to move in?

It varies on which 2 bedroom. The prices are very fair. my 2 bed/2 bath is only $915 in 2017 and will probably go up $35-$45 again in 2018, but I'm leaving.
