If you want to know the history of Jerome, then this is the place for you. The views are incredible and it was fun to compare the current landscape/buildings to drawings of the hillsides and buildings that were there in the past, some of which are still standing.

The park has a visitor center, a museum, and an excellent panoramic view of the valley below. The museum tells the story of the copper mining industry in the area and how industrialists will exploit a community and its people to further societies development, then abandon it when the land is no longer useful. It is story of one man who made millions and how early 20th century mining practices both helped and hurt communities. It is the story of American enterprise and successes. This community essentially built America. It would be worth your time to see a story of its cost and benefits.

Really enjoyed this park. It’s smaller but unlike the Riordan mansion state park, your entrance fee allows you to see the grounds and house. Cool gem and mineral room with a small flourescent light room to show some mineral that glow. Lots of history—and interesting dioramas of the mining under Jerome. Don’t miss the Audrey Headlamp Park that you can visit for free on the way up to the Jerome state park for more mining context.

Jerome is awesome. If in the Sedona area, do yourself a favor and make a trip to jerome for a day or an overnight trip. Love this place so much

No but there is Dead Horse Ranch state park in near by Clarksdale that has tent sites.
Site seeing, the museum, eating, drinking at the local barss. Go to the Grand Hotel that is supposedly haunted. The mining museum, lots of stores. The Haunted Hamburger Bar has good food.
The park is mostly a historical house with exhibits, I believe only service dogs were allowed.
It does not. We were told by the ranger their that because it is a state park, our national parks pass would not admit us in. Its definitely worth visiting nonetheless!
No group pricing last time I was there, but if you get an annual pass it's good for the whole family. There prices change seasonally.
