Joy Again
Bathrooms were very clean. Showers available. We camped in the Tiffany loop. It was windy (July 2022) the host came and greeted us and let us know there were mosquitos and explained how to tie the tent down better. THE GREATEST CAMP HOST IVE EVER MET. She was a BLESSING. This is a busy park but easy to reserve online and the camp pads fit large tents easily. Recommend strong stakes and a mallet. (Bug spray and sunscreen **) Shout-out to the host :) in the purple camper!

Decent state park near Chimney Rock. Unfortunately not much to do & we were there in June so it was very hot & dry. Lots of dust & no swimming areas, so hard to cool off. Campsite was very clean & well maintained, but is definitely more suitable for campers & RVs with air conditioning & entertainment available. We were tent camping & had to leave the park the majority of the day to cool off. A little shade from the covered picnic table, but not much else.

Small State Park on the Navajo reservoir. One loop has FHU and one is electric only. Also primitive sites for rent camping. Flush toilets, showers for a fee, and laundry available. Most sites are pull-through with some back-in. Hot in the summer with little to no trees. Try to get a site with a shade shelter

Another trip to Navajo. Peaceful.. Weather very nice. Water lower than first trip. Fishing tomorrow hopefully it will be good.

I would call them. We just came back from there a few days ago. Stayed a week. Never saw one 4 wheeler.
Usually yes. We have been a time or two where there was no attendant. You can do it super easy online.
The park office has a map of areas open to hunting. Generally, the area west of Windsurf Beach is open to hunting.
Were there on the fourth of july you make reservations online
Depends on the type of site you're renting and in which campground.
