Nice scenic area for a walk along the beach if you like walking over rocks to get to the small beach area it's worth it if you have kids or a dog and want to search for rocks, sea glass or shells! We dipped our feet in the water and my kids had water shoes so it wasn't to bad on the feet. 👍

Love the views from this park! Some days when on the NH coast & a sandy beach isn't what I want, this is my favorite spot. Great views in every direction! Boats moving in & out of the harbor on one side, interesting rocky beach on the opposite, & sprawling lawn in between. Walk out onto the breakwater & cast a line, or just watch & listen as the waves crash. Benches surround the green area with a few picnic tables scattered around. Perfect seating to soak it all in & enjoy the best lobster roll ever from Rye Harbor Lobster, located (literally) right across the harbor. Restroom pavilion with small covered picnic table area separate the (inexpensive) "pay & display" parking spots from the recreational areas. The best hour of therapy!..and only $2 an hour (plus lunch😄)

Always a great place to stop by on your way through. Plenty of parking, always well maintained with a covered area over picnic tables if you're looking for a nice place to have some lunch. Beautiful monument and great view with access to wander the rocks of the breakwater or small rocky Beach sort of area. Restrooms usually available as well.
