UPDATE 2022: she’s still suspicious of everything but is the best Black Friday cat we will ever have. She’s a complete cuddle bug. We just picked up the newest member of our family at PARL over the Black Friday weekend. Her name is Lumos and she is super suspicious of everything, but was darling when we met her in a place she was comfortable in. The staff were great in helping us get her home and we can’t wait to see her adapt to her new forever home.

Everyone that works at this shelter is super nice. The shelter itself is super clean. The animals appear to be well taken care of. The adoption process was super easy and seamless.

Went for the vaccine clinic to get my cats distemper. Very fast. I think they took only 2-3 minutes per animal. Wish they had a shorter line, but you get what you get in a pinch. My vet was booked out for months!

I absolutely love this place. Was able to get my cat fixed and her shots for such a low cost. I would've only been able to get one of the things somewhere else for the price. When I felt something was wrong with my cat's suture after she had healed up, I brought her in. Not only did they explain to me what was going on, but they also didn't charge me for the visit because she was healing nicely. Turns out it was just itchy because it was finally done healing and she was biting at it. Causing irritation and redness, so they gave me an e-collar for her. My cat didn't appreciate the cone, but I sure did! Couldn't thank them enough honestly. I was so happy to see representatives at Pride, getting a cute kitten adopted and getting donations by selling waters. The beautiful service dog was a plus!

You can call them, or see about rabies/distemper shots that your local PetSmart or Petco offers for a reduced price
Call 4211399if u get foodstamps n show them then its $55. If not then u should call
Depends on the vet and if there are complications
It would be better to call them directly.
I think they do. Before restrictions eased up, they had me leave donations on the bench outside the front door. You might want to check and see if they still want you to do that or if they are open to the public. People were there daily to check on and take care of the animals so they were able to pick up donations quickly.
They can help. Bring him in.
It depends. Usually they left you pet the cats and sometimes the small animals depending on what they are.
No they don't
Yes but first you need to make an appointment
Casual

Your best bet is to go there and take a look.
Yes I surrendered my cat at the Providence animal rescue League and you just have to go on line of their website and put all the information in about your two cats and they'll help you from there it's heartbreaking though my heart still breaking from getting my cat away but yep I'm glad I could help
I do not work there but i believe they will take it. You can try and call first so they know you are coming!
Not free but very reduced price
Yes, PARL has a pet surrender program. More information can be found on this webpage: https://www.parl.org/animal-surrender
I'm not sure but they have helped me a lot I have 4 cats 2 very sick there mess cost 150.00 a month they help me with cat sand and special food for my cat that has kidney disease. They r worth checking out...
Hi Brenda, Unfortunately at this time we do not have a temporary foster program and cannot board owned animals. Your question helps us better understand the needs of our community and we are currently looking at our community support programs and where we might add additional services in the future. Thank you!
Yes there is a fee for adopting. The prices vary from the age of the animal to the actual animal itself whether it be a cat, dog or a smaller animal like a rat, guinea pig, etc. We have a month long sale that ends on 8/31 for all small animals and they'll be 50% off. I hope this helps in anyway possible but if you have more questions please feel free to look at the PARL website or even give us a call, we're always happy to help in anyway!!:)<3
They have a website and yes you have to make an appointment Nothing is free You'll be surprised at the Price very high
They list the animals they have up for adoption on their website
All dogs have been adopted. You should call the Providence Animal Rescue League and they will answer your questions.
I know they have bunnies, dogs, c a TS & hamsters.
If you wait till their clinic spray/neuter days. You can get your kitten fixed and his shots for around$60 I got my female cat (she was about 2) fixed and all her shots including a flea treatment for $60
You have better luck going through a on line pet adoption for example pet finder
Yes if you sign up for their low income program
You can find a way to do that on the shelter's website. I don't think who speaks Spanish.
Is it possible your expectations are too high? Maybe a fish or a plush toy would be a better fit for your needs.
I had my kitty for 19 years, I had to put him down I am ready to get a kitty male kitty I waited three years for getting another kitty, please let me know if you have any kittens for adoption. Thank you
Yes definitely that's were my mother got her dog &I adopted a dog there years ago,
Like this other person said, yes they do have extras. Or if not, they would recommend a place to buy one. The carriers they do have there are also a very good price for good quality! Hope that answers everything! :)
$50 IIRC. WAY Cheaper than buying one and then getting them spayed or neutered and examined by a qualified vet.
Dont over vaccinate these vaccines are unnecessary just rabis and that's it and do it every 2 years.
If you register with them they will give your cat FREE care..including food
Elbow st providence r.i. i think its 55$ to bring in a cat. Google them
Just call them I am not sure sorry
Between. 200 an 250
You would have to call them and ask them.
Ask them but I know I have paid $55cause i had low income
You would need to call and ask.☺
Monday is closed due to Veterans Day. The shelter will be open on Tuesday 11am to 5pm p.m. Please call for information.
No its 18 an over
I know they ain't hiring but ate lookong for volunteers
Do I need an appointment to surrender my dog
You are able to when the place is open. It helps if you are with them so you can help fill out the information cards. This increases the chances of a better match for your 4 paw friend
No I don't sorry
You would need to take your pet to a local veterinary clinic. We do not offer sick or well visits for pets at this time, only our monthly vaccination clinics.
Yea you have to call, but you could adopt one and name out Christopher
I believe its a no kill shelter. They would only put an animal down i believe if it hurts someone or another animal. If it very sick and in the best interest of the animal. I am not 100% sure. The best way to find out is to call.
Yes contact the shelter they can tell u if the dog is still there
I saw a few puppies..but u can call them and ask them of what kind of dogs they have and if they are puppies
I would suggest you take them to the shelter.
We currently have 2 ferrets available for adoption. They are a bonded pair, so their adoption fee is 2-for-1, $65.
I dont think so. Just cats, dogs, bunnys, and hamsters. But you never know. I would call and if they dont maybe they could point you in the direction of one that might.
You could either call animal control in your area or bring him to a local shelter (like PARL).
Not hard just need to walk them give them a bath feed them the right food for thme spend time with them
PARL *might* take in your dog, but realize that rehoming a pitbull is incredibly difficult for a rescue organization such as PARL. If possible, please try friends and family, then contact PARL if you have no luck.
Hi Richard. Give them a call tomorrow morning; maybe they have a multi-cat discount, too.
Sorry to hear your dog isnt doing well. Call PARL tomorrow and ask if they can recommend a vet that can set you up with a payment plan. Your dog may need to receive subcutaneous fluids to help flush out her kidneys, and be prescribed special food and medications to help her out. Dont delay due to not having money.
I would definitely give them a call Monday morning to see if they can set you up.
They have some Guinea pigs there
Definitely call and ask, or a school with a knitting club (they exist!) may be able to take it.
Yes they let you pet the animals and visit with them. Just so you know if you want a kitten they are 210 dollars but well worth it. They have all shots and spay or neuter.
First, have you exhausted asking all your friends and family about adopting them? Call the shelter tomorrow morning and see what their hours are. There typically is a fee you pay when you drop them off. I hope they're able to find good homes soon 😥
You have to go see what they have
Give them a call or go through their website; they might be able to help!
Also adoption fees include your first vet visit free.
I thibk they do, but its best to call.
Best to call.
You should check their website or call them. They have their adoptable pets listed online.
Their primary need is volunteers, especially during the week.
