The new tram cars are very nice, new sleek design with windows everywhere with a rooftop balcony to be installed for the Summer of 2023. The views were amazing!

Great option for scenic view of mountains. You leave from the Snowbird Center (Entry2) and end atop Hidden Peak, a bit above 11,000 feet. If it seems cloudy in the valley, call and they will let you know about the view/ weather at Snowbird. There is also a webcam on their website, they told me this was a great way to see for myself. Cost was higher than i expected but i have nothing similar to compare it to. Be aware that your ears will adjust to pressure several times. I did not see how wheelchairs could be accommodated. This is most likely due to the fact that other than the tram, skiing is the way down. Had to get something to eat while at the top. The Summit restaurant was pick up and go only. Cost was very high. A cookie was between $3-$4. Tram runs every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour. Occasionally, runs a "tween", which is on the quarter hour. They had a tween going up but not for our down. Be prepared for more wind. Be careful with young children who may not understand the inherent danger if they were to run into the snow, off groomed area.

Snowbird is always so amazingly beautiful! I recommend not going up during Octoberfest Long lines and it’s more expensive to ride the tram and anything you do. But the view is unreal.

The SnowBird Tram was better than expected. No jerkiness, no crazy movements, just subtle bumps here and there. The great part is the amazing scenic views and seeing the mountains from an aerial perspective! You get to the top and have a great view where you are able to see Heber Valley and Salt Lake Valley with a simple turn. Quite incredible and to top it off, a great restaurant at the top of the mountain. It definitely give you those adventurous vibes.
