Such a beautiful place. I went at night, and the lighted trails made the walk to the stairs even better.

I have only visited this location at night time to see the night sky when the skies are clear or there are little clouds. The Star Tower is a great place to get away from the noise of the city. I love the lighting at night time! There are side walk lightings and a picnic table not too far from the tower to sit at and look at the city lights at night.

This place is beautiful, I truly appreciate the time and hard work it took to build. Its better to go during dawn so you can see the lights and constellations on the tower as you are walking up the stairs. However it is just as beautiful during the day to admire the mountains and waterfall.

I think it's always open. Its like going to a park. You walk in a pathway that leads to a spiral staircase that when you get to the top there is an observation deck for viewing the stars 🌟 best to go at night Have a wonderful time bring binaculars if you have them
It's free to climb the tower and use the picnic area, as long as you're with a resident of Estrella Mountain.

It will be publicly reopened after they finish construction on the new visitor center but you can still walk up there I think
