Kevin and his team created a professional & high quality website. They did an outstanding job illustrating my company and our services that we provide. I would highly recommend PearTree Design!

PearTree Design was a great design and marketing resource! They effectively and quickly provided many designs for my small business, from which we were able to easily select and negotiate favorites. Beyond that, Kevin and his team did an excellent job with providing marketing support. I am particularly grateful for their help in allowing my business to gain a digital presence. He went above expectations by aiding in potential future marketing solutions e.g. rack cards, stickers, business cards, etc. I would highly recommend for any of your marketing needs!

PearTree has now redesigned a couple of websites for us (we have 8), and I have found them to be terrific to work with! April has quickly grasped our goals and worked with our team to make the sites easy to maintain while looking and feeling inviting. We will be working with them again as we look to modernize more of our websites.

Kevin and his team were very efficient in completely rebuilding our website in a relatively quick timeframe. The PearTree team are very hands on and super helpful in teaching us the ways around Wordpress. They provide a great package at an affordable price, so I would definitely recommend PearTree for your marketing needs!

Questions & Answers

Does my website require UX design?

Short answer: Yes. But allow me to clarify that: all website designs (all designs, for that matter) must consider the needs and the "experience" of the user. To what level we should consider those needs, is the real question. To illustrate the point, lets take a seemingly straightforward business: "My Plumbing Service". Generally speaking, we can make some presumptions about what a user expects from this site. Emergency service, phone number, list of services. Anything else? Well, how about servicing commercial properties? And, what area's are served? Is there an extra fee for traveling outside the area? How about hardware — does the plumber provide options for that? Oh, and how many trucks are in the fleet? All of these questions, and more, must be considered when designing both the architecture and the flow of the site, to give users the best information in the easiest way. If even one customer backs out because they can't find what they came for, the site is flawed.

Can I visit your office to discuss my project?

Absolutely! PearTree Design, LLC has been in business for over 20 years. We're not a fly-by-night operation, and we certainly don't act like one! Our "class-a" offices are located in Norwood MA, replete with conference room, kitchen, wifi and all. We encourage clients to come in and meet our team, review designs and discuss projects.

How much is a logo design?

Pricing a logo project has never been easy — at least not for a brick & mortar professional design firm. Sure, you'll see plenty of offers for $99 logos, through contests and other sites, but, quite frankly, 95% aren't worth even that. If you're serious about your company, you want a logo design that reflects YOUR business, not a generic one. With that said, the fee depends on the scope of the project. Clients have come to us with an idea for their logo; they just needed it executed. Minimal creative = minimal fee. Here is a list — from basic to more creative, of the scope of logo design: • $ Production fee — client provides their own ideas, they just need to be executed. • $$ Rebrand —  client wants to do a brand / logo refresh using existing design as basis • $$$ Wordmark — a logo that uses word/letters only. There is no stand alone icon • $$$$ Icon/Wordmark — icon needs to be created, client relies on design firm for concepts
