Like many others have said, the manager is quite cold and loves to be choosy about who can and can’t adopt. Some cats have been there for years because they won’t adopt to students, even if the students have already owned cats for years. They really need to rethink their policies.

I was really wanting to get a senior pet for my new home. I filled out an application to come in to visit available dogs or cats to see how we get along. Online said they were open to the public, but when I got there, I could only look at the dogs from the hallway. I could, however, visit the cats. I waited for them to get back to me about the application so I could visit a pup. I got an email back saying I was not a good fit for a pup, without any questions asked or any recommendation(s) for another dog/cat. I responded, but then they closed my application for "not receiving a response". I messaged back and forwarded my previous email and have yet to hear back. I filled out an application to volunteer there, but the correspondence has put me off of that location.

Love this adoption foundation! They are very patient with adopters as they get to know their animals and have a very low adoption fee! They do trial adoptions to make sure the animal is the best fit in the home and the home is the best fit for the puppy. They are even willing to refund the fee if the trial doesn't go well. A super loving bunch!! We stopped in just to look around on a lazy day and met Bella. The staff was very patient and loving and knew everything about her without having to look it up. They really cared that Bella was going to a home that fit her needs vs just getting rid of an animal.
