My mom's move to an A.L community came with a large amount amount of anxiety. The team at Truewood by Merrill, Charlotte Center took the time to listen to all of our concerns and handled the details of her move-in with a level of care that exceeded our expectations. In our experience, this community shines above the rest! Thank you Johnna, Patrick and all of the wonderful staff for giving us the peace of mind knowing that Mom is being cared for like family when we can't be there.

If anyone need to know that there are still good people out there, you truly need to visit this place. They went above and beyond all my expectations , from the first phone call by Johnna to Sam to Shannon the general manager, and all those in between. The staff is wonderful!! The facility is clean and just makes you feel happy. Thanks for everything you all did to make my Aunt Marty feel safe and secure in her new home. :)

In August of this year, my Mom (91) was living with me and was becoming depressed and forgetful. I thought it would be good for her to get into an Adult Living Facility to have friends her own age. This was the best thing that we did. She has her own condo room, they take care of her meds and she has done a complete turn around. The whole place is extremely clean. The staff are so courteous and helpful. She now has a purpose to get up early and have her meals with the other residents. If you are looking for a Super place for your loved one, I would highly recommend Village Place (aka) Truewood by Merrill, Charlotte Center in Port Charlotte, Florida. A big Thank You to all the staff.
