Overall I think Camp Bow Wow is a good place to take your babies, I have a dog that requires some extra TLC, I won't go into that however I recently had some issues and removed my dog. I was upset and maybe over reacted, however, I feel like the staff does care, more specifically the assistant manager. She actually took the time to call me and she actually listened to what I had to say without trying to sugar coat or appease me. I appreciate the fact that she actually heard my concerns and we were able to resolve the issue, without trying to just get me to "shut up" with a lack of better wording. I found that sometimes the employees there are just quick to dismiss and move on to the next task without even making eye contact. She is new there and seemed to really want to make sure I was happy with services there. Most of the employees there are very young and just in my opinion, don't care about customer service. Every time I was there they all just seemed to be overworked and hurried, so communication, just was not going to happen. Anyhow, maybe Owner needs to educate staff in the importance of customer service, attention to detail with animals that require a little more than an average dog, and most of all...how to listen to a customer. I do feel my needs and concerns were validated, with my conversation with the new assistant manager. I will likely return.

Know that this can be a high energy, chaotic environment. Up to 20 dogs in an area at one time can get hectic. If your dog is not well socialized (or able to strike a balance between being laid back yet assertive when necessary), I suggest going for a smaller, less intense play environment. More individualized with fewer canines. It is clean however, I give it that. A dog was recently killed here due to negligence of franchise owner(s) not abiding by weight class separation rules. There was a horrific video going around of a beagle grabbing a smaller dog and violently shaking it like a toy. There have been previous dog deaths here as well due to heat stroke etc. It's not common, but when it's avoidable and happens anyway it's absolutely heart breaking and infuriating. I have also witnessed management spanking/striking dogs that are regulars but are misbehaving or wound up. This is absolutely unacceptable. Staff might discipline their dogs at home that way, but the owners may not and have not granted that permission. Not everyone hits their dogs. Our pets are our family. When the facility is at capacity, make shift kennels for smaller dogs are created out of stacked canvas/PVC dog beds. I'm not sure if this is green lighted by the corporation or in other BowWow facilities...it seems not only dangerous, but very negligent! Staff find the dogs roaming the kennel hall come morning time, which means these barricades are falling over. If they fall onto a elderly or tiny fragile dog it may injure them, potentially seriously. Come on, these things are completely avoidable with some logic and common sense. Instead profit over safety is chosen in these instances which is a big concern. Customers see happy dogs but don't understand some things that go on behind the scenes. Employee turnover rate is also extremely high. Many applying for front desk staff work a single day only to never return out of concern of being placed in a position they didn't apply for, because that isn't unheard of...It is bad practice to tell multiple employees you will move them to a different position only to never do so, yet hire several other people to fill said position instead. Its different if that occured with one person, but when it happens with several it throws up a red flag, for the owners behavior. Kind of a slap in the face and feels dishonest and manipulative, rude at the very least. An employee shouldn't have to threaten to quit multiple times in order to be moved to a position they were told they'd be placed into prior. I know not every business is perfect, but if this one can't be ran without properly adhering to safety protocol & standards, perhaps there needs to be some sort of revamp/overhaul of higher staff that are fully trained, or can at least forsee potential issues regarding doing things improperly. If management self admits that they don't usually do work on the floor and are typically behind the scenes, thats fine, but they need to get themselves up to ideal trained standards in that case or find and train people that can be. If personnel retention is a problem, perhaps there is something going on internally...the job is what it is and I know pay is typically based on business income revenue, or should be, but wages are competitively higher amongst other boarding facilities, let alone other fields since hourly wages are/have been increasing at a steady rate.

Camp Bow Wow is always there in a pinch, but the flip-side of that coin is that the daycare rooms can get very crowded, leaving little room for pups to play. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful, and the webcam is great to make sure your pup is doing well.

With an unexpected death in our family, we had to travel out of state. We were informed on Friday afternoon and we were on a plane the next morning. They were able to take care of our dog for more than a week. I know they treat her well, and I get to watch her during the day on the cams.

On Friday is pool day weather permitting
As far as I know, they don't take dogs before 7 a.m., but you can board you dog with them the night before your event or trip. It's really a great place for dogs. I have no complaints, and my 10 month old pup loves it.
Not sure but my guess is 18
Not sure just call them. It's a great place
Most businesses unfortunately don't reply to their questions on here- you must call to find out or go in person. Filling out an application has to be done in person anyhow.
