Love this library. It's well laid-out and lit. I always enjoy browsing the friends of the library bookstore. The ladies in there enjoy what they're doing and are delightful to chat with. The interlibrary search and loan system is easy-to-use online and I just run in and grab my books off the shelf. Our library system, and especially the Venice branch, is excellent.

That was my first visit to the library and I loved it! Got the books I wanted, got my new card and enjoyed waking around and seeing all the different areas! The librarians are very helpful!

This is one of the nicest libraries I have been to. The staff is cheerful and helpful. There is a large selection of books. Their children’s section is completely separate and quite large. They are using great technology to allow for self checkout of books. The scanner will scan a stack of books still in your library bag. In addition, there is an autonomous return system that takes the books on a conveyor belt to sort into bins to shelf later. The building appears quits new but most important, it seems to be clean, including the restrooms. We will be back! (Many times.)

Hi Susan, Thanks for your question. The data is unlimited so that is not a problem. I do understand that they do go to sleep or turn off after a certain period of time. So you may have to occasionally turn it back on. Let me know if you have any other questions. Katie Dow Library Manager
You can ask for a guest pass if don't have a library card can use computers for an hour sometimes longer if no one waiting or has a reservation
