Well I called, explaining exactly my situation being I need 4 wisdom teeth removed, having gotten x-rays and a referral from my dentist this morning. The lady on the phone was exceptionally nice and professional with making my appointment happen, taking my insurance information, assuring me that they 1. Accept my insurance 2. Will perform the extraction today And then I arrive after my hour drive, fill out my patient paperwork to be told they in fact, do not accept my insurance. Did I just get baited and switched by a dentist? Everyone here is exceptionally nice, understanding, apologetic of the situation, and speedy.

Thank you Dr. Gaukhman & staff for seeing me on a Sunday for an emergency appointment followed by a relaxing and painless emergency extraction! I had some anxiety after leaving the office knowing my tooth was not suitable for restorative treatment and reading some reviews. For someone who has never had teeth issues I know that dental care can be painful for many. But boy I am glad I went with my gut!! Everyone's scenario is different so take these reviews with a grain of salt, there will always be people you cannot please but you can be in control with how you communicate in office at that time to ensure there are no misunderstandings. This Venice location did everything to ensure I was comfortable and taken care of. I am nursing mother, no medication for aftercare was needed for my #5 extraction and as self pay individual I would highly recommend. Just got my stitches out Tuesday and I am healing wonderfully. After bone grafting sets the next few weeks, will go back for planning for the implant. Thank you!

This place. So I had a filling break and really upset the nerve attached to my tooth well it was bad very bad. I was useiig adult liquid Tylenol to rinse out my tooth trying to get the nerves to let me sleep. And noproxin was up to 3 a day that’s not good. Go found this dentist office and asked for a appointment. They told me to come in and they will open something up and did everything they took me back seen the bad issue I was going threw. They put my to sleep and I’m at home not in pain thank goodness they know that they are helping people. Very very satisfied

While two of the office staff were pleasant, Dr. Gaukhman was very abrasive and brash. I was thankful to be squeezed in due to an emergency dental situation that occurred while on vacation. However, I sat in tears in excruciating pain in the waiting room, and again in the dental chair just for Dr. Gaukhman to spend less than 2 minutes banging on my teeth only to tell me he couldn’t help and would refer me elsewhere. Thankfully, I was able to get medication to suppress the pain and the referral given led me to the Siesta Key Root Canal Specialists who went above and beyond my expectations.
