Is it true that the Italian Catholics have a festival that worships mermaid which is celebrated in June ? This is causing a disruption in my community and I need to know the truth to educate others.

It was announced at the end of Mass this evening that the Feast of the Immaculate Conception will be celebrated tomorrow. Does it carry the same obligation of being a holy day even though the date has been changed?

Typically, in the past, the transferred celenrated Holy Day has not been obligatory when it falls on the Sunday of Advent. I believe this was publicized in the bulletin from Epiphanycathedral.org on the Dec.1 issue...but i may be wrong on this. It is probably detailed on the usccb.org website also.
Do they have a Saturday mass?
