Well maintained park open to the public. Free to enter, ample parking space during non rush hours. Beautiful tulips and trees, plenty of seating and photo spots throughout the park

This garden is nature lovers paradise. Shady relaxing areas, beautiful tulips, nature kissed walking trails are very few worth mentioning. Family can spend 2-3 hours. Our must visit once/twice a year. We prefer visiting first/second week of April to get beautiful glance of Tulips 🌷

My first time visiting Brookside and it was AMAZING! A great place to walk around in the fresh air! Lots a beautiful flowers to see. Definitely going back once the butterfly sanctuary is open.

The gardens are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. There is no entrance fee. A playground, mini train ride, carousel, and an outdoor exercise area are all within walking distance to the gardens. The visitor center has free maps and a craft shop. There is a fee for the Christmas lights, which are very detailed and entertaining.

It's great for kids. Specially garden of light after dark
Our botanical garden is open from sun up to sun down every day and it's free! We do host events, camps & classes year round that have a fee. However, many of our events are free! This weekend is the orchid show and sale. Come for a visit. http://www.friendsofbrooksidegardens.org/orchid-show-2019
There is a sign immediately as you enter through the gates that says group shoots require a permit. I assume the same goes for any photo shoots. Anything larger than taking some snapshots with a single-camera or phone will probably require talking to the staff to get approval.
Wheaton regional is right next door. Tables, lake, playground, pavilions. While I doubt anyone would complain if you have a small snack on a bench in Brookside, there is a no food rule. Just walk Brookside, then go through the gate into Wheaton regional to eat, then walk back.
Jesse, thank you for asking. If your purpose for coming to the garden is to enjoy the flowers and wildlife than you can take pictures and selfies of yourself enjoying the botanical garden. If your purpose for coming to the botanical garden is to do a photo shoot, and not to enjoy our botanical garden then you will need a photo permit. Elena the earliest I have arrived there is 6:00 am and at that time there's already people and photographers taking pictures...I dont know if they open earlier than that and the latest I have left the place is 8:30 pm and there's still a lot of people that's been my experience....hope it helps
Not too much. I rented for pictures and it was just $14 last year maybe has changed
Not quite yet. There are cherry blossoms, other spring blooms, and over 50,000 daffodils. Follow " brookside gardens, Montgomery parks " on Facebook to see what is currently in bloom. I spoke with the gardeners. The best guess is april first or a bit earlier. It's in nature's hands.
This year 2020 we will not be hosting the garden of lights show. We hope to see you in 2021!
Yes they're have ! You should talk with someone at the office or In the greenhouse!
