The reasons for the low rating are: • Nicholas K (assistant manager) handling of our cancellation • Increase in pricing without notice • Low end facility For this review I'll go into detail on the cancellation as a warning to others: We moved from Hoboken in 2019 and cancelled our memberships over the phone. The gym was very reluctant to do this and wanted us to come in. They wouldn't accept a cancellation via email. Eventually we were able to get them to cancel over the phone. However, my wife discovered we were still be charged for her membership. When we called to ask about it they said they didn't have any information in writing which of course we couldn't provide since they wouldn't allow us to cancel over email. Nicholas K refused to allow us to recoup any of the fees, so we paid years of fees despite having moved away from the area and having called to cancel.

The mgmt was initially very friendly when I went to sign up, but absent when I went to cancel. The person able to process my cancellation is mysteriously never there. Despite multiple emails and calls I keep getting charged despite efforts to cancel. I have dealt with Nicholas in memberships who is particularly unresponsive.
