Leo's is a Hoboken landmark - steeped in history and community. Very comfortable atmosphere, the staff feel like family. Food is terrific, like your zias put together all their best dishes for a feast. Bar pies are great starters/snacks, and you have to try the vodka sauce. The place is littered with Frank Sinatra portraits, and they keep his old chair above the bar. This place is popular and fills up quickly, service may get slow, but totally worth the wait. Seating is a little tight compared to the suburbs, but not unlike other restaurant in the city. Leo's is an absolute must.

I ordered a chicken Marsala and Manicotti with meatballs. I’ve never tasted an inedible chicken Marsala like this before. It was super sweat and the pasta felt undercooked. The Manicotti tasted like school lunch and came with one small meatball. This is coming from my fiancé who practically eats anything. Disappointed as the reviews on both Grubhub and Google maps indicated that the food here was great. Will not be ordering from here again.

My parents took us here when I was a kid, I have now been taking my wife here for 37 years and now my kids and their friends go here all the time. Just was there Saturday for my 35th Anniversary and everything was great as always for 50 years. Thank you for staying authentic as the first time I remember the place.
